What is the competition system of Chinese Football League B?

The preliminaries of the China-B League are divided into two divisions, the north and the south, and the home and away games are held separately. The national finals adopt the home and away elimination system, and clubs are not allowed to use foreign aid in all competitions, plus there is an age limit (no more than 5 players over the age of 25 per team). The final stage of China-B League is a cup composed of the top four in two divisions.

The quarter-finals and semi-finals are mainly away elimination matches, and the final and third place competition is the deciding game. The home game was tied by two teams at home. The specific grouping is the upper part: A 1 is B4, A3 is B2; Lower part: A2 to B3, A4 to B 1. In the 2007 season, the competition system changed. The top four teams in each district entered the quarterfinals from the original preliminaries (two rounds in total), and the two champions in the preliminaries directly entered the quarterfinals. Teams from the second to the fourth place in each district, together with the champion and runner-up in the university football league, took the lead in entering the quarter-finals.

In the final (the competition between the two winning teams in the semi-final), there will also be a third-place competition (the competition between the two losing teams in the semi-final), and the champion and runner-up (the top three in 2007) will be qualified to advance to the first league next season.

By the 20 10 season, there are only 10 teams because the teams participating in the league after the restructuring are the least. For the first time, the second division adopted the four-wheel round robin system, that is, every two teams played four times a season, playing two home games and two away games respectively. In the preliminaries, the top three teams in each district advanced to the national finals, and the China Football Association disqualified the top two teams in the university league. The preliminary champion went straight to the semi-finals. The runner-up in the North District competed against the runner-up in the South District, and the runner-up in the South District competed for the other two semi-finals places. The two teams that win the semi-finals will qualify for the China League next season.

By 20 1 1 season, the competition system will be restored to before 2007.
