What kind of competition system is the Swiss wheel?

Under the Swiss round robin system, all participating teams or players can compete for a team with 1 win and a team with 0 win 1 lose by drawing lots.

In the second round, 1 winning and losing teams draw lots for each other, and teams with 0 wins 1 losing also draw lots for each other. In the third round, teams with 2 wins and 0 losses, 1 wins 1 losses, and teams with 0 wins and 2 losses can only draw teams with the same record, and so on.

Simply put, only teams with the same record can compete with each other. Until you meet the winning criteria, you will be promoted, or if you meet the negative criteria, you will be eliminated. The advantage of the Swiss Round is that it can prevent the seeded players from being eliminated by the opponent at the beginning, and it can also let the weaker players play more rounds to increase the game experience.

Generally speaking, the strength between opponents is more balanced, which can also enhance the appreciation of the game. Compared with the double elimination system adopted in previous e-sports competitions, the Swiss Round is more scientific and fair.
