The reason why Xuanmaoshan became Zhutuoshan is related to a monk named Feng Dian. According to legend, in the eighth year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (165 1), on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, the Li family gave birth to a son, commonly known as Li Fu. "He Chang didn't want to get married, and his parents forced him to get a room, but there was no contamination with the bed. There are Wang Yi and monks in the city. After flying to Wuxi, I always wanted to help the poor, especially to treat dying diseases. The art of reincarnation is not effective, and undressing is to repair the bridge and give porridge. " Feng Dian claimed to be a heartless monk, and later changed his name to Crossing, called Feng Dian, commonly known as Li Fozhu, and later generations also called Feng Dian Jigong. Li fo studied in a private school for two or three years. He started farming at the age of eleven or twelve. He became a monk at the age of eighteen and went to Xuanmao Mountain to practice. He saw that the temple was sparse, so he made a wish to repair it. In order to repair the Ten Kings Hall, Fengdian drives a pig named "Self-awakening" every day, carrying bricks, six pieces on his back and four pieces on his back. This trip touched people around us, and everyone volunteered to work and raise money to donate, and finally realized their long-cherished wish. Since then, Xuanmaoshan has been called "Zhutuoshan". Li Fu died in Xi 'an on the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month in the forty-ninth year of Kangxi (17 10). Legend has it that after his death, monks painted gold powder on his seat, but strangely, it never shone. Soon, the news reached the capital, and Emperor Kangxi said, "Is he a golden Buddha?" When it comes to the point, the wind is blowing and the gold is shining. Therefore, later generations often call him a "golden Buddha". Stories such as "offering sacrifices to pray for rain", "cooking to relieve difficulties", "treating strange diseases", "turning over sand" and "skillfully building bridges" are widely circulated in Yongdeng area, and are well known. Today, there are still stone carvings of Dharma statues painted by Xi 'an stele forest, and the sayings of the wind and the monk's words and the classics of infiltrating the golden Buddha to save the robbery are still circulating among the people.
