Yue Fei was tortured to death by the frame-up of Qin Gui. Why did he sign after listening to a jailer?

According to textual research, it is recorded in the Annals of the League of Three Dynasties to the North, and later generations quoted a lot of historical materials when compiling the History of Southern Song Dynasty and the History of Southern Song Dynasty. So it can be said that it belongs to historical facts. The author of this book, Xu, was born in the Southern Song Dynasty and lived before and after Yue Fei's death. Although he didn't see it with his own eyes, he heard many secrets at that time. Therefore, his record of Yue Fei is by no means groundless.

It is recorded in "Three Dynasties North Alliance": "Even prisoners lean against the door and have no respect. The prisoner said, "I have been loyal to Yue Fei all my life, so I am very careful in serving him. Today is a rebellious ear! " Fei asked him the cause of death and said, "No doubt is chaos. If you doubt me, you will be punished. If I doubt you, I will be opposed. Now you doubt me. Young and immortal, you will suspect you when you get out of prison. Is it safe? On the contrary, it is very clear, so it is also a rebellious minister. "When Fei is moved, when he is moved to the sky, he must bet on him." It can be seen from here that Yue Fei was willing to sign the oath only because he was suspected by the monarch, and what he did at that time did have the possibility of rebellion.

First of all, why did Qin Gui sign Yue Fei before he was executed? Although the phenomenon of valuing literature over martial arts was very serious in the Song Dynasty, we should know that Yue Fei was an envoy of the Tang Dynasty before he went to prison, and his ministerial status implicated hundreds of thousands of Yue Jiajun soldiers. It can be said that if there is no very favorable evidence and statement, it will lead to military turmoil, which was absolutely not allowed in the Song Dynasty at that time.

Secondly, Yue Fei's rebellion is indeed suspicious, otherwise it will not arouse the suspicion of the monarch. There are two versions in the official history. One is that Yue Fei betrayed the traitor and made a complaint, which made the monarch doubt Yue Fei. There is also a saying that Yue Fei was still in close contact with the old men after being dismissed from office, which led to the crime of rebellion and was killed. What the jailer said just pointed out the result of Yue Fei's imprisonment, so Yue Fei didn't want to resist after being awakened by the jailer, so he died to prove his innocence.
