On March 25th, 2020, the People's Bank of China and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics (hereinafter referred to as "BOCOG") formally signed an agreement on the issuance of commemorative coins for the 24th Winter Olympics. According to the arrangement of the issuance agreement, the People's Bank of China will issue 2 ordinary commemorative coins, 2 commemorative banknotes and 19 gold and silver commemorative coins from 2020. On February 28th, 2020, 65438, the People's Bank of China announced that two ordinary commemorative coins originally planned to be issued in 2020 were issued on 20021after adjustment.

The emblem of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics is on the front of the commemorative banknote, which is jointly located by Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and China Construction Bank in Hong Kong, showing the characteristics of the Winter Olympics with ice and snow models. The back design takes the Great Wall as the main scene and the silhouette of Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong under the bright moon as the background.
4. The subscription period of commemorative banknotes for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics is 202 1, 12, 1 to 10. Each applicant can subscribe for a maximum of five single bonds, a set of four consecutive bonds and a set of thirty-five consecutive bonds. If the total number of subscription applications exceeds the sales quota of commemorative banknotes, BOC Hong Kong will allocate them by computer lottery. Applicants can check the application results through 202 1 65438+February 21 Successful applicants must pay all tuition fees before 5: 00 pm on June 3, 2022.
