Liudao Temple is one of the four holy places in Buddhism. What are its allusions?

Liudaoyuan is the place where Sakyamuni Buddha turned Falun for the first time and preached to his disciples. At that time, after Buddha Sakyamuni became a Buddha in Bodhi Academy, he walked more than 200 kilometers to the west and came to Luogu Temple. Then he explained Buddhism to the five people who followed him. These people were sent to take care of him by his father, Fan Jingguo Wang. He explained to them the path of reincarnation, endless pain, the cause and effect of good and evil, and the transcendence of practice. After the epiphany, they immediately put on vestments and became the first monks in the world. So far, this is the first time that Buddhism, Buddhism and monks have gathered together. It is also the embryonic form of Buddhist temples and is called the first Falun in the history of Buddhism.

Rokuyaon is located at 10 km west of varanasi in northern India, where the original Buddhist monk group was founded. Rokuyaon is one of the four holy places of ancient Indian Buddhism. Here is a short story-it is said that a long time ago, there was a king who liked to hunt deer, so the deer king asked all the deer to draw lots. Every day, a deer sacrifices itself to protect other deer to shoot the king. In this way, the king shot a deer every day and returned to the palace contentedly.

One day, when he was preparing to bow and shoot an arrow, he suddenly saw the stag that was late, with a lost expression on his face and tears in his eyes. The king was surprised, but he raised his bow and looked at the deer carefully. At this moment, the deer suddenly spit out his words. It turned out that he was the deer king, because today it was the turn of a doe to be shot by the king, and the doe was pregnant. The deer king could not bear to die two lives, and the number of deer doubled. But for other deer, it was unfair to draw lots again, so he decided to give himself to the king instead of the doe. The king was very moved. He ordered not to hunt deer in this area, making it a paradise for deer. The name was translated as Rokuyaon in China.

Since then, Sakyamuni Buddha has lived on earth for 45 years, with more than 300 classics and thousands of disciples. This is also the place where the Buddha's "first turn to Falun Gong" took place. At first, the Buddha lived in Mulangandakudi's house in Rokuyaon. The group of monks has gradually expanded to about 60 people. Later, the Buddha sent them to preach everywhere. With the support of local kings and wealthy businessmen, Buddhism spread in Rokuyaon. By the 3rd century, Rokuyaon had become an important art center and reached its peak in the Gupta Dynasty (4th to 6th centuries). Faxian, a monk in Jin Dynasty, and Xuanzang, a monk in Tang Dynasty, both came here to worship Buddha, which is recorded in Faxian Buddhist Sutra and Xuanzang's Records of the Western Regions. Tang Xuanzang described the grand occasion of the year of Liuyuan at that time in "Records of the Western Regions": "Luye THE TEMPLE OF JIALAN is a pavilion with eight borders and four walls." Archaeologists found that there are four or five-story temples and monasteries here, indicating that pagodas and temples here have been repaired and built many times in history.
