Freshman training
Freshman training day is very special, held on Sunday. I remember last year, when I was a trainee, the training day for freshmen was during normal working hours, but today it was changed to a holiday. I think this is a good idea. Although the first-grade teachers must arrive at school on the same day, more parents will attend the freshman symposium on the same day. Besides, freshmen have a lot of information to fill in. Parents can fill in the data themselves or read it first. If they have any questions, they can ask the teacher immediately. Of course, the most important thing is that if parents are involved, freshmen's data will be easier to collect.
Administrative practice
Although we didn't arrange administrative practice until September, I started to help in the counseling room this week because the office was busy at the beginning of the semester. Among them, two things impressed me the most. First of all, I must arrive at the school at 7: 20, help lead the fifth and sixth grade students to stand at the school gate, hold up the sign "Please follow me for freshmen", and help anxious parents lead the freshmen into the classroom. The next day, due to the influence of the typhoon, it was very stormy, but because we promised our parents that we would have this service this week, we stood at the school gate to welcome the new students regardless of the wind and rain. Fortunately, we persisted, because there are still a few parents who are really anxious and have to hand them over to us! Although everyone arrived at school early this week, making simple placards not only let parents know the intimacy of the school, but also let me know that it belongs to the counseling room, otherwise I really thought it belonged to the academic affairs office!
The second is the freshman symposium. The main purpose of this symposium is to let freshmen know all the first-year teachers, principals and four directors. However, the way to let freshmen know is not a simple introduction, but a projection method to enlarge the shadow of the introduced person on a white curtain, so that freshmen can guess their body shape and appearance. I'm in Grade 4 to Grade 5, so I have to rearrange my classes. So after a brief teacher morning meeting in the morning, Miss Wan Qi and I went to all classes in Grade 4 to lead the students in our class. Because the middle and senior grades are in the new building (not in my student days), I am a little confused about the direction. I think I must find a day to learn about many directions of the school. On the day of returning to school, students 1 1 left school at half past ten, so they were given textbooks and notebooks that day, and they did simple cleaning work and immediately left school.
At noon, the leader of the teaching group suddenly asked me to substitute two art classes the next day. At that time, I was a little afraid that I didn't have time to prepare, but because it was a temporary emergency, almost every intern teacher had to substitute the next day, which was absolutely inevitable. So I discussed it with my previous teacher, and when I got home that day, I began to think about how to finish these two classes. Finally, I decided to let them draw a draft with a pencil in these two classes to draw their summer vacation life.
Get along with the internship tutor.
I just started to have close contact with the internship tutor (Ms. Weng Wanqi) this week. Ms. wanqi is great. She thinks I don't have to take the initiative to give her lessons or do other chores. Almost all of them are handled by herself, and she seldom asks me for help. She also told me what I needed, so she wouldn't leave me much, because she said there would be a lot of things for me to do in the administrative department.
However, after two days together, I began to feel that I had to take the initiative to ask the teacher for help or help, instead of passively waiting for the teacher to ask me for help. So I took the initiative to tell the teacher that there were many chores at the beginning of school, such as checking the list, in fact, I could help, so that I could be more familiar with the names of my classmates, so that Miss Wan Qi would not be so embarrassed in the future and would ask me for help when she was busy. Gradually, I believe I can help my internship.
Class management
When students are in the fifth grade, their mood fluctuates and they often make some minor problems such as talking back. Teacher Wan Qi will first point out what is wrong and why, and then let the students push or jump together. I think Mr. Wan Qi can let students know their mistakes clearly, and the way of punishment can also exercise their physical strength, which is really worth learning.
Then there is the part of assigning sweeping work. The teacher told me that he originally wanted to draw lots for distribution, but in the end he thought about her previous experience and felt that in this case, students would have no sense of identity with their sweeping work and would often be lazy. So this time, Mr. Wan Qi spent a class arranging sweeping homework, alternately using voluntary and guessing methods, explaining the content of homework while arranging, so that the whole class can understand at once that everyone will take the initiative to do their own things during sweeping time. Because of the new class, many class routines are still being established. This process is hard and complicated, and because this environment allows me to practice, I believe I can learn a lot from it.
Trial teaching
There are many things to help in the counseling room this week, so I don't have much time to stay in class. In addition, the new curriculum must establish new routines, so I don't have many difficult teaching activities this week, but I have seen two important points, both of which belong to mathematics teaching. First, before any progress is made, teachers will work out the multiplication and division of two-digit, three-digit or even four-digit numbers, measure the students' level first, and then correct their homework. You can easily know the level of students, see where the level of the whole class is, then write down the students with poor level and find time to improve the level of students to five years. Second, when the teacher first started learning mathematics, the pace was very slow. I hope that when the whole class understands her teaching methods, the rhythm will gradually accelerate. And because students are taught by different teachers in the fourth grade, there will be some differences in calculation methods. Mr. Wan Qi will hope that students will unify their methods, so that students' computing ability will not always stay in the way of construction, and the computing speed will be improved. Not only that, teachers will also improve their teaching level.
Study on Wednesday
This learning camp is a "leaving study". The reason for holding this study is to change the old paper leave method to online leave method. Because a few teachers are not familiar with computer operation, most people are not familiar with online leave, so this research is very important and related to the rights and interests of many teachers.
Internship counseling session
This meeting is our first formal internship counseling meeting, which is mainly to let all internship counselors introduce themselves to interns, directors and principals, and also to let internship counselors know how to coach us or cooperate with the administration.
However, this time, because of the conflict between the meeting time and the sixth grade graduation trip, only one director of the four major directors came, so this meeting gave me a preliminary understanding of teaching. The director also pointed out clearly that when it is our turn to the counseling room in the first class, we can ask if there is any need for assistance, so that the teacher who handles things can better arrange the affairs and arrange them for us more flexibly. If nothing happens, we can go back to work as an intern and go by ourselves.
In addition, the most important point is that the director wants us to ask as many questions as possible, because he doesn't know what we need and rarely tells us on his own initiative, so when we have questions, the director and the team leader will answer them enthusiastically. I think "initiative" is really one of the important topics that we should study during our one-year internship.
