The glory of the king Professional League (KPL) is the highest standard professional competitive event in the glory of the king. The whole year is divided into spring and autumn seasons, and each season is divided into three parts: regular season, playoffs and finals.
201September 10, Zhang Yijia, chairman of KPL league, announced that a number of professional players will go back to school for further education in the future.
Brief introduction of competition system
Note: this is the 202 1 spring competition system.
In the regular season, the home and away teams of Group S (6 players), Group A (6 players) and Group B (4 players+temporary teams) are implemented: they are divided into the first group single cycle (BO5), the second group single cycle (BO5), the card game (BO5) and the third group single cycle (BO5); Add the transport party selection system.
Single-cycle S, A and B teams will play one game each. After the second single cycle, the standings S5-A2, S6-A 1, A5-B2, A6-B 1 played against BO5, and the winner entered a higher group. The way of "changing groups" is the same as the card game, so there is no need for competition, so the first single cycle will change the standings.
After the card game, Group B will be eliminated directly, and Group S and Group A will decide the playoff places in the third round.
The regular season starts every Friday (Wednesday to Sunday) 18:00 and ends on weekends 15:00.
There are two games a day from Wednesday to Friday, three games a day on weekends, and the best-of-five system (BO5).
In the regular season, the teams met three times (twice in Group B), and the home team chose the side first.
In the end, the semi-finals of Group S and Group A advanced to the playoffs, and the rest were eliminated.
In the playoffs, the winners and losers will be eliminated separately, and the winners and losers will be decided to compete for the championship.
The top four in group S advanced to the winner group, and the top five or six in group S and the top four in group A entered the loser group. In the end, they will compete for the champion and the loser, advance to the final and compete for the KPL championship.
In the playoffs and finals, each game is based on the best of seven games (including the peak matchup) (BO7+), and the sides are selected according to the regular season ranking (the priority of side selection: the regular season ranking is greater than the points, the net victory is greater than the winning and losing relationship is greater than the draw).
