Enrollment targets and registration conditions
High school graduates who meet the registration requirements for the 2020 national unified entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities, have strong professional interests, scientific research aspirations and hard-working spirit, excellent comprehensive quality, top-notch basic disciplines, and are interested in serving the country's major strategic needs and engaging in scientific and technological work in related fields can apply for the examination. Candidates fall into the following two categories:
The first category: candidates with excellent results in the college entrance examination.
Category II: Candidates who have outstanding talent and performance in related disciplines must win one of the following awards: the second prize in the national finals of China Mathematical Olympics, China Physical Olympics and China Chemical Olympics, and the first prize in the national finals of the national biology competition for middle school students and the national youth informatics Olympics.
Enrollment major and enrollment plan
(A) strong basic plan enrollment and comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination pilot provinces to choose examination subjects.
In 2020, the enrollment majors of our school's strong foundation plan include:
Mathematics and applied mathematics, information and computing science, physics, applied physics, chemistry, biological science, biotechnology, theoretical and applied mechanics, nuclear engineering and nuclear technology.
Non-college entrance examination comprehensive reform pilot provinces only recruit science students; For the pilot provinces (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hainan) of the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination, the selected subject is physics.

Registration method and selection procedure
(1) Time and method of registration
From May 10 to May 3 1, candidates can log on to the website of the Strong Foundation Program of the Chinese University of Science and Technology and complete online registration accurately and completely as required. Late registration is invalid.

Candidates who apply for the strong foundation program of our school cannot apply for the strong foundation programs of other universities at the same time.
Candidates should fill in at least 1 professional volunteers and at most 6 professional volunteers.
(2) Candidates take the unified college entrance examination.
(3) Evaluation methods of short-listed universities
The first category of candidates:
1. pilot provinces for comprehensive reform of college entrance examination (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hainan)
The results of college entrance examination (excluding any policy bonus, the same below) reach 50 points or more on the corresponding minimum admission control scores of some special types determined by provinces or municipalities directly under the central government;
2.jiangsu province
The score of the college entrance examination has reached more than 40 points for the admission control score of a batch of undergraduate (science);
3. Other provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions
The results of the college entrance examination have reached a batch of admission control scores of undergraduate courses (science) in the province, municipality directly under the Central Government and autonomous region where they are located (the provinces that merge a batch of undergraduate courses refer to the corresponding minimum admission control scores of some special types determined by the province) 100 or above.
Before July 26th, according to the results of the college entrance examination, our school determined the shortlist of candidates from all provinces (with the same score and the same shortlist) according to three times the number of provincial enrollment plans of our strong foundation plan, and publicized the shortlist criteria.
The second category of candidates:
The results of the college entrance examination have reached a batch of admission control scores of undergraduate courses (science) in the province, municipality directly under the Central Government and autonomous region where they are located (the provinces that have merged a batch of undergraduate courses are shortlisted with reference to the corresponding minimum admission control scores of some special types determined by the province).
Jiangsu candidates who apply for the first and second categories must reach AA in the academic proficiency test.
(D) College evaluation
On July 29 -30, the college exam (including written test, interview and physical fitness test) will be held.
1. written test and interview plan
The written test subjects are mathematics and physics, focusing on the basis of related disciplines, logical thinking ability and operational ability;
The interview mainly examines the candidates' interest, ambition and innovation potential in basic subjects. The interview adopts the method of "double random" lottery between experts and candidates, and the whole process is recorded and tested.
2. The use of candidates' comprehensive quality files
Candidates' comprehensive quality files will serve as an important reference for interview assessment.
3. Use of physical fitness test scheme and results.
Candidates are required to take a physical fitness test in our school, which includes 50-meter running, sitting forward and vital capacity test. Candidates who fail all physical fitness tests or any of them will not be admitted. According to the contents of the document "National Students' Physical Health Standard (Revised 20 14)" issued by the Ministry of Education, the qualified criteria for candidates to participate in the above physical fitness test items are: 50-meter running (male: 9.2 seconds; Female: 10.4 seconds); Sit forward (male: 3.2cm；; Female: 5.5 cm); Vitality test (male: 3000ml, female: 1950ml). Candidates who are unable to take the physical fitness test due to physical reasons must provide a certificate from a 3A hospital, and our school will arrange make-up exams or grant exemption according to the situation.

Our school scored a perfect score of 100, a written test score of 70 and an interview score of 30.

1. Conversion method of comprehensive score
Among the comprehensive scores of candidates, the scores of college entrance examination account for 85%, and those of our school account for 15%. The specific formula is:

For the first type of candidates, according to the candidates' wishes and the number of enrollment plans of our school in the provincial strong foundation plan, according to the principle of score priority and comprehensive score line, professional voluntary admission is carried out. When the candidates' comprehensive scores are the same, the order is determined from high to low according to the individual scores (our school's examination scores, our school's examination written test scores, our school's examination written test math scores, college entrance examination mathematics, science comprehensive or physics, Chinese and foreign language scores). Candidates who have reached the minimum admission score of comprehensive scores, but have not met the requirements of professional volunteers and are willing to obey professional adjustment, will be admitted by adjustment.
For the second type of candidates, those whose comprehensive scores reach the minimum admission score of the first type of candidates in the same province (all candidates to be admitted, regardless of their majors) will be admitted.
According to the enrollment plan, the enrollment leading group of our school examines and approves the proposed enrollment list of the strong foundation plan, and submits it to the Provincial Admissions Office for examination and handling the admission procedures.
Our school will announce the admission list and admission criteria before August 5. Candidates who are officially admitted will no longer participate in the voluntary admission of the follow-up college entrance examination in this province, municipality directly under the Central Government and autonomous region; Candidates who have not been admitted can normally participate in the voluntary admission of subsequent batches of college entrance examinations in this province, municipality directly under the Central Government and autonomous region.
The school evaluation work plan may be adjusted according to the local epidemic prevention and control situation, and will be notified again at that time.

Our school always takes talent training as the core and moral education as the fundamental task, speeds up the reform of talent training mode and continuously improves the quality of talent training. Our school adheres to the concept of "excellent university, educating people with talents", adheres to the traditional characteristics of "broad foundation, precise specialty and innovative specialty, and pays attention to cultivating students' all-round quality and innovative ability", maintains a moderate scale, strengthens the combination of science and education, attaches importance to interdisciplinary training of talents, respects students' interests, perfects the new talent training mode of "two-stage, three-combination, long period, individualization and internationalization", and constructs a new talent training mode of "emphasizing foundation and being strong"
(A) phased assessment and diversion measures
Our school's strong foundation plan will set up strong foundation classes, and all the professional strong foundation classes that implement the strong foundation plan will adopt the administrative establishment of about 30 people to carry out small class teaching. Qiangji class employs outstanding talents from different disciplines as class teachers, and the department head of Qiangji class is the person in charge of the strong foundation plan of this major.
Our school will establish a growth file for each strong foundation project student, track the development of training and report to the school regularly. Every academic year, dynamic management and elimination mechanism are adopted according to academic performance, and outstanding students are selected from the whole school to join the strong foundation plan.
The diversion and enrollment of the strong foundation plan are decided by the strong foundation plan enrollment leading group and the school teaching Committee.
(b) Master-doctor linkage training programme
Our school will actively explore the training mode of the connection between master and master in the strong foundation project, coordinate with the Academic Affairs Office and the graduate school, sort out the knowledge system of various majors in the master and master stages, optimize the curriculum design, and offer basic courses for students to choose from, so as to ensure that students in the strong foundation project can study graduate courses smoothly from the aspects of course selection, course arrangement and filing.
Our school will give priority to supporting students from the Strong Foundation Program to study for master's and doctor's degrees without examination, and promote the training mode of directly studying for doctor's degrees after graduation.
(3) Other incentive mechanisms
Our school will provide sufficient resources for the implementation of the strong foundation plan.
1. Provide enough scholarships for all students in the strong foundation project;
2. Provide international exchange opportunities and funds for all students of strong foundation projects;
3. Provide first-class tutors with academic level for all students of Qiangji Project, and provide full guidance to help students improve their academic planning, professional interest growth and academic ability expansion.
4. Provide opportunities for all students in the strong foundation program to improve their practical ability in the corresponding research institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences, national science projects and platforms;
5. Give priority to recommending students from the Strong Foundation Program to apply for various honors and awards;
6. Priority is given to recommending students from strong foundation projects to study for master's and doctoral degrees without taking the test.
Other instructions
(A) on the students' comprehensive quality files. In the provinces that have established a unified information platform at the provincial level, the provincial education administrative department will upload the electronic comprehensive quality files of candidates to the registration system of the Xeon Plan. For provinces that have not established a unified information platform at the provincial level, the education administrative departments of the provinces shall collect the comprehensive quality files of local middle school students and upload them to the registration system of the Xeon Plan.
(II) For candidates who forge comprehensive quality files or cheat in college examinations, cancel their qualifications for registration, examination and admission of strong foundation plans, and inform the provincial entrance examination institutions or education administrative departments of the relevant situation, cancel their qualifications for registration, examination and admission of college entrance examinations, and suspend their participation in various national education examinations for three years according to the seriousness of the case. Those who have entered the school will be disqualified according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and our school. Those found after graduation will be disqualified from their diplomas and degree certificates. Middle schools should carefully verify the materials distributed. If there is fraud, our school reserves the right to take relevant measures.
(3) In principle, candidates admitted to the Strong Foundation Program are not allowed to change majors after entering school, and the scope of changing majors at the undergraduate level is limited to the enrollment major of the Strong Foundation Program in our school.
(4) During the selection test, candidates should pay for their own transportation and accommodation. Candidates with financial difficulties who are short-listed for college exams can apply to our school, and our school can provide affordable travel expenses and accommodation subsidies as appropriate.
(5) Our school has not entrusted any individuals or intermediaries to carry out examinations and enrollment related work such as the Strong Foundation Program, and does not hold any form of for-profit training activities.
Supervision and guarantee mechanism
(1) The enrollment work of the pilot enrollment reform of basic disciplines in our school is organized and implemented by the Admissions Office of the Chinese University of Science and Technology under the leadership of the leading group for enrollment work of the Chinese University of Science and Technology. In the process of implementing this brochure, our school has made the enrollment plan open, the selection method fair and the admission criteria open.
(2) Our school will examine the admission qualifications of the admitted students, and those who do not have the admission qualifications will be dealt with according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education.
(3) The enrollment work of the pilot enrollment reform of basic disciplines in our school is supervised by the discipline inspection and supervision department of the Chinese University of Science and Technology, and is also subject to social supervision.
