What is the World Cup?

A big football match.

FIFAWorldCup, referred to as the World Cup, is the world's highest honor, the highest specification, the highest competitive level and the most famous football match. Together with the Olympic Games, it is called the two top sports events in the world, and its influence and broadcast coverage exceed the Olympic Games. The World Cup is held every four years, and now the trophy is the World Cup.

The World Cup schedule is divided into two stages: the preliminaries and the finals. The preliminaries are divided into six divisions, namely Europe, South America, Asia, Africa, North America and Oceania. Each division needs to formulate the rules of the preliminaries according to the actual situation of its own division, while teams from FIFA member countries (regions) who sign up for the World Cup need to hold preliminaries in their respective divisions to compete for the final seats.
