Up to now, there have been s1-s13 ("s" means season) 12 games in the global finals. The finals usually start in June 65438+ 10-June 65438+June 065438+ 10 every year. The contestants are all top teams from all major divisions, and only the teams that perform well in professional leagues every year are eligible to participate.

Each division decides its position in the finals according to its size and level. Global 12 divisions and leagues include: Chinese mainland LPL, South Korea LCK, Europe LEC, North America LCS, CIS LCL, Brazil CBLOL, China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and Southeast Asia PCS, Latin America LLA, Turkey TCL, Oceania LCO, Japan LJL and Vietnam VC.

Game system

As the first stage of the competition, the finalists include 1 and No.2 seeds of VCS and PCS, 1 seeds of LLA, CBLOL and LJL, and winners of No.4 seeds LCS and LEC in the global finals qualifier.

Eight teams were divided into the upper and lower half by drawing lots for Bo3 double-cycle elimination. The team ranked first in the first half will play Bo5 against the team ranked second in the other half. The winning team in Bo5 will advance to the Swiss round. The first ten games are Bo3 and the last two games are Bo5.

The two winning teams in the final will join the top three seed teams of LEC and LCS, and the top four seed teams of LCK and LPL. Sixteen teams will be divided into four draw groups: 1 seed group, No.2 seed group, No.3 seed group, No.4 seed group and final team group. Firstly, these teams are divided into eight games according to the seed sorting, and the No.4 seed pool is played against Bo 1, 1, and the No.2 seed pool is played against the No.3 seed pool.
