Is Kobe a village?

Kobe is a rural area. Japan is really rural except Tokyo. Kobe is known as the main entrance to the West Sea of Japan. It was a small fishing village in ancient times, formerly known as Hyogo. From July10 to 784, due to the frequent trade with China and North Korea, it became the maritime transportation gateway of Japan at that time. In the 3rd century, Kobe was called Tianjin of Hyogo. /kloc-became a material distribution center after the 0/7th century. 1867 was opened as a trading port, and 1872 was renamed Kobe, meaning the people under the jurisdiction of the shrine. In feudal Japan, the royal family, local officials and shrines all had closed households. At that time, there were two shrines in Kobe, Morita and Nagata, and the place where the residents who served Morita lived was called Kobe Village.
