In 2020, the League officially announced the establishment of the LPL Hall of Fame in recognition of e-sports players and practitioners who have made significant contributions to the development of League of Legends e-sports. After discussion and evaluation by LPL Competition Committee, Liu Mou (PDD) became a candidate for 202 1LPL Hall of Fame.
PDD belongs to the first batch of League of Legends professional players. In his career, he has been a famous athlete. He was once called the first prince at that time by boxing officials, and the name of single overlord resounded through Summoner Canyon. The retired PDD is also contributing to the e-sports in China. Several members of LPL's team that won the S-class championship came from his YM team, so he was called the president of Huangpu Military Academy.
In PDD's career, there was no formal competition system like LPL at that time, only large and small cups, with low bonuses and no traffic. At that time, the professional environment was not as perfect as it is now, but PDD still won many honors, large and small. After the formal establishment of LPL, PDD was actually at the end of his career, but before retiring, he still entered the final of LPL with IG.
PDD established the famous YM Youth Training Club. Although YM has never entered LPL, the FMVP of the first S champion and the second S champion of LPL are from YM youth training. There are MSI champions Ming, Wei and Cryin, who are also. In addition, many YM players are also active in LPL. It can be said that PDD has been committed to the youth training in the e-sports circle and has contributed to the continuous delivery of talents by LPL.
This is the president of E-sports Whampoa Military Academy, the early leader of League of Legends, the core C of the old IG, the ancient professional player, and the last overlord PDD. Before the establishment of LPL, he was playing a career, establishing a youth training system and transporting talents for LPL. I believe that it is absolutely natural for PDD to be selected into the LPL Hall of Fame.
