In this regard, the Ministry of the Interior of Thailand will revise the wording of the relevant announcement in the next month, and submit it to the Thai land department to study more visa-related rights and interests, and then formally issue an announcement to implement it.
Thanucha, Secretary General of the National Economic and Social Development Committee of Thailand, said after the meeting that the meeting reviewed and adopted a number of important measures, including:

According to the ministerial announcement submitted by the Ministry of Interior of Thailand, foreigners who meet the type requirements will be allowed to stay in Thailand for a long time under special circumstances, mainly targeting four target groups, namely, high-net-worth individuals, retirees, people who intend to work in Thailand and people with special skills.
Relevant proposals cover the qualifications and standards for submitting visa applications, including:
1 The total duration of the long-term residence visa is 10 years, and you are allowed to stay in Thailand for 5 years.
After that, you can submit an application for further residence for 5 years, and the number of entry and exit is unlimited. Foreigners and their families, including spouses and children (under 20 years old), enjoy the same rights, but no more than four people.
After the expiration of 3 1 year, the relevant person in charge must be informed of his/her residence address (the original provision is to inform him/her every 90 days).
After being allowed to stay in Thailand, you can work for up to 5 years at a time.
For other purposes, you can apply for domestic residence.
As for the property and land use rights during the residence, this meeting authorized the Thai land department to study more details and resubmit them to the CDC for consideration next month. On the issue of tax incentives, the meeting authorized the Thai Taxation Bureau to draft a royal decree to clearly stipulate the tax incentives for long-term residence visa holders.
In addition, the meeting also authorized the customs department to formulate a travel convenience guide for holders of long-term residence visas, and set up a long-term residence visa service center (LTR-Servicecenter), and designated the Investment Promotion Committee (BOI) as the main unit to set up and manage this center, to provide convenience and consultation for foreigners who have obtained LTR visas, and to implement measures to stimulate the economy and investment by attracting foreigners with high potential.
