The Origin of Fengtian Palace in Xingang
In the 12th year of tomorrow (AD 1622), the boatman Liu Dingguo arrived in Taiwan Province Province from Meizhou ancestral hall. In the thirty-ninth year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (AD 1700), believers near Bengang worshipped the icon and established the "Tianhou Palace of Bengang". Later, due to the diversion of Xichuan, the temple was destroyed in the fourth year of Jiaqing (AD 1799). In the 16th year of Jiaqing (A.D. 18 1 1), it was rebuilt in Xingang. When Emperor Jiaqing visited Taiwan, Count Fu (Fujian) Zhejiang Navy met Emperor Jiaqing in front of the Tianhou Palace in Hong Kong and became friends, so he made a fortune. Therefore, please give Xingang a new palace name "Fengtian Palace". This is the origin of "Fengtian Palace in Xingang". Nanyao Palace in Changhua and Lan Palace in Dajia Town pay homage to their ancestors every year. During the incense, the streets were empty, cigarettes filled the air, and firecrackers exploded, which was extremely prosperous.
