Champions League draw grading rules

The scoring rules of the Champions League group draw include grade division and grade balance.

Grading: 32 teams are divided into 4 grades, with 8 teams in each grade. The grading is determined according to the team's European club football ranking (UEFA club ranking). The top 8 teams are in the first file, the teams ranked 9- 16 are in the second file, and so on. Same country restriction: teams from the same country cannot be divided into the same group when drawing lots for group matches. This can ensure that the opponents in the group match come from different countries and increase the diversity and appreciation of the game.

Grade balance: Each team must include teams from different grades. This can ensure that the opponents in the group stage are equal in strength and increase the competitiveness and fairness of the competition. Position balance: In the group stage, each team will play home and away games with the other three teams. This lottery grading rule is to ensure fairness and justice, and prevent teams from the same country from playing home or away games at the same time in the same round.

UEFA Champions League

UEFAChampionsLeague (referred to as "Champions League" or "Champions League") is an annual football competition hosted by union of european football associations, which represents the highest level and honor of European club football. It is recognized as the most influential and highest-level club event in the world and one of the most award-winning football and sports events in the world. The UEFA Champions League was formerly known as the UEFA Champions Club Cup in 1954, and was renamed in 1992.

Although the Champions League has been revised many times, the records since the establishment of the tournament have never been counted separately, and the old name of "European Club Champions Cup" is still retained on the championship trophy. Twenty-three teams have won the championship in history, with Real Madrid (14 times) winning the championship the most, followed by AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Liverpool, Barcelona and Ajax.
