How to score in weightlifting competition?

Weightlifting is a simple sport. Each competitor has three attempts in snatch and clean and jerk, and the best result of each event is included in the total score.

For example, a player lifts 85kg in the snatch and 1 15kg in the clean and jerk, so his total score is 200kg.

If a competitor fails to snatch three times, he can continue to participate in the clean and jerk competition, but he cannot participate in the final ranking.

If two athletes lift the same weight, the lighter one ranks first.

In case two people have the same grades and the same weight, the person with this weight ranks first.

The weight of a competitor's first attempt determines his appearance order.

In the first attempt, the lighter weight first appeared and continued until the maximum weight was reached.

If two players want the same weight, the order of appearance will be decided by drawing lots.

Every attempt should gain at least 2.5 kilograms, except for the attempt to break the world record.

In that case, the weight gain can only be 0.5 kg, but the weight included in the total score is an integer multiple of 2.5 kg which is closest to the actual score.

Players have 20 to 30 minutes of practice time in the preparation room before the game.

After you get on the weightlifting platform, you have one minute to prepare for the trial lift.

During this minute, they put some talcum powder on their hands to increase friction.

If a competitor tries to jump twice in a row, there will be a two-minute break between the two attempts.
