European national league system:
The European National League is an "invention" of former UEFA President Platini, and it is a brand-new competition. It was created to replace most meaningless friendlies, which are held every two years, making the competition more compact and exciting. After the start of the national league, there will be no extra time to play the friendly match of the national team, but the national league will not make the friendly match disappear completely.
The national league divides the 55 countries under UEFA into four leagues, and the scoring standard is the national team ranking after the European qualifiers of the 20 18 World Cup. The highest ranked 12 team will enter League A, and so on. ABCD4 has four leagues. The top four teams in the A-League will reach the final of the 20 19 national league and compete for the final championship. There are ups and downs in the national league. The top four teams in BCD League advanced to the next level, and the last four teams in ABC League were relegated. The next league will start in 2020/2 1 season.
League A and League B are 12 teams, which are divided into 4 groups with 3 teams in each group. The group match will be divided into home and away games, with a total of 4 group matches. League C, 1 group 3 teams, other 3 groups 4 teams,1* *15 teams. There will also be home and away matches in the group matches, and each team will play 4-6 group matches. League D is divided into four groups, with four teams in each group, and each team plays six group matches. At the end of each league, there will be a finals, that is, the first place in the four group matches will participate in the final semi-finals and finals, thus deciding the first place.
The 2020 European Cup qualifiers will start from March 20 19. This time, it was jointly organized by 13 Football Association, and there was no quota for automatically selecting the host. All 55 teams will participate in the preliminaries and be divided into 10 groups with 5 or 6 teams in each group. The top two teams in each group will enter the finals. The most interesting thing is that only 20 places have been decided in this European Cup qualifier, and the remaining four places will be produced through the League of Nations. In each of the four leagues of the League of Nations, four teams with good results in the League of Nations but failed to advance to the European Cup finals through the qualifiers staged play-offs, and each of the four leagues decided on a team. If the superior league team fails to make up four teams, the quota will be postponed to the next level (for example, all teams in League A 12 have passed the qualifiers, then the four play-off seats in League A will be postponed to League B). With the League of Nations, the road for small national teams to the European Cup is wider. For example, among the 16 teams in the D League, Latvia is the only team that has ever entered the European Cup. In the 2020 European Cup, at least 16 teams in the D League will advance to the race.
