Where does Hepu Dongshan Temple belong?

Hepu Dongshan Temple is a cultural relic protection unit in Hepu County.

Hepu Dongshan Temple, formerly known as Lingjue Temple and Dongshan Temple, was founded by Zen Master Cheng of Song Baoshan. In the 10th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (14 12), it was rebuilt by a monk Juejing, and then it was rebuilt many times in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. Temple * * * is divided into four rooms, brick structure. The first entrance, the word "Dongshan Temple", was written by a scholar Yu Jun, and the font was vigorous and powerful; The second entrance is the Heavenly King Hall; The third step is the Hall of Great Heroes, keeping the style of the Song Dynasty. The fourth time was guanyin temple. Dongshan Temple in Hepu was once the palace of Li Rizun, king of Annan during the reign of Chang Fu in Dayue, and it is one of the oldest temples in Hepu. It was once rated as one of the "Eight Scenes of Yang Lian" in Ming Dynasty. Unfortunately, after liberation, due to political movements and other reasons, Dongshan Temple in Hepu suffered many accidents, the temple was demolished and the Buddha statue was damaged, which was a miserable scene. After the reform and opening-up, especially in 200 1 year, Hepu county party committee and county government seriously implemented the national religious policy and took the restoration of Dongshan Temple as an important task. Therefore, Hepu Dongshan Temple is getting back to its original appearance day by day, and the whole Dongshan Temple is taking on a new look. Now the Ursa Major Hall and Guanyin Hall are under intense repair, and I believe they will meet tourists soon. There are temples in Hepu, starting from Dongshan Temple. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, Zhao Tuo, the king of South Vietnam, stationed in Hepu, set up a palace as the base camp, commanded and trained the navy, raised rations, and fought back against the invading Eurocopter team. At the end of the Han Dynasty, there was a dispute among the three countries. Hepu County is the territory of Wu State and Jin State. Frequent wars, the king of South Vietnam entered the palace because of annihilation. In Venus, the people of this county built Lingjue Temple in the hometown of the Palace, which is one of the two earliest existing temples in Guangxi, so it is called "Sanlian Ancient Temple".

During Liang Xiao's period in the Southern Dynasties, Dharma, a Buddhist monk from Tianzhu, crossed the ocean and went to Dongshan Temple to worship Buddha, praising Dongshan Temple for his "Buddha's light and clouds". The Sui and Tang Dynasties were unified, and Buddhism flourished. Lingjue Temple was renamed "Xia Yun Temple" in the words of Buddhism. In Song Dynasty, a Zen master from Baoshan visited Pearl City. Because he heard the name of Dharma and the sacred relics he left behind, he decided to rebuild and expand the temple, and the temple was completed. The Zen created by Buddhism spread to Dongshan, the fifth ancestor of Hongren, and was called "Dongshan Dharma" in history. Therefore, Dongshan was named as the name of the temple to show the origin of the Zen Buddhism "Dongshan Famen". At that time, it was a scenic spot, a famous temple in Lingnan. At that time, Dongshan Temple was built into four cities and two counties. One is the mountain gate, the other is the King Kong Hall, the third is the Hero Hall, and the fourth is the Guanyin Hall. Dedicated to the Four Heavenly Kings, Sakyamuni and Ananda, Ye Jia, Eighteen Arhats, Guanyin Bodhisattva and 0 Buddha statues. Therefore, Dongshan Temple has a deep Buddhist origin and is well-known in Sanlian and Gongde broadcasting. Dongshan Temple has a large scale and strict structural layout, including the Mountain Gate, the King Kong Hall, the Ursa Major Hall, the Guanyin Hall, the Wei Tuo Hall, the Sutra Collection Pavilion and the Bible Reading Hall.

The most distinctive is the big bronze bell of Lingjue Temple, which is not only the largest in Lingnan, but also spiritual. According to legend, this clock was touched by a master monk passing by Hepu. When the bell rings, it will vibrate for ten miles. Bao Jun, a famous scholar in Qing Dynasty, once wrote a poem praising Dongshan Temple's bell: "The wind sends the Brahma bell to the upper bound, and the rain leaves cover the East Mountain. Loud and quiet, sitting in the old lady's room. " As soon as the bell rings, cicadas are all silent, which shows that this clock in Dongshan Temple is really extraordinary.
