Trusteeship background
League of Legends mid-season championship is an international competition held by fist games. It has been successfully held for seven sessions. In 2022, the last League of Legends mid-season champion was won by RNG in LPL Division with T 1 victory over LCK Division. This is the first time that the UK has hosted a mid-season championship, and the14 final of the 20 15 global finals was also held in the UK.
A total of 13 teams will participate in the mid-2023 season, and there will be two rounds of lose-lose elimination: the final and the winning-losing group match. The draw ceremony for the finalists was presided over by Trevor Henry, the host of the tournament, and Rekkles, a cross-country athlete from Fnatic, was the guest. It started in the early morning of April 24th, 2023 after the final of LEC Spring Tournament, thus opening the curtain of the mid-season championship in 2023.
