Wenshuyuan is located in Qingyang District, Chengdu, within the First Ring Road, a national key Buddhist temple in the Han area and a key cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province. Now he is a resident of Sichuan Chengdu Buddhist Association. It is a famous Buddhist temple in western Sichuan.
Wen Shu Academy was founded in the great cause of the Sui Dynasty (605-6 17). Yang Xiu, King of Shu, was named Xinxiang Temple in the name of "Shengni". In the fifth year of Huichang (845), Tang Wuzong destroyed the Buddha and the temple. Xuanzong ascended the throne (847), which lasted more than 800 years. The first year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1644) was completely destroyed. Legend has it that in the Qing Dynasty, someone saw a red light at night and the government sent someone to visit. They saw the statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva in the red light, which was convenient for Kangxi to raise funds to rebuild the temple in the thirty-sixth year (1697) and renamed it Manjusri Academy. Emperor Kangxi inscribed the word "empty forest" and presented it to the Imperial Seal Party. Mo Bao of Emperor Kangxi is still in the hospital.
