? The first time I heard about the Eight Scenes of Lutian was at the end of 1979. At that time, a large number of Guangzhou teachers who taught in Lutian returned to Guangzhou, and the school teachers were in short supply. I participated in HKCEE in 1978, and after I won the second place in the local line, the relevant leaders thought that I was qualified for teaching in primary and secondary schools, so I was assigned to Lutian Primary School instead of teaching. The next year, he was transferred to Shuipu Primary School, where there were fewer teachers. At school, I met Li Chenggong, a former teacher of Happy Bookstore in Shuipu Village. He is Li's father and a teacher in this school. Miss Li was my second sister's classmate in agricultural secondary school. In this way, we have more and more topics and contacts.
At that time, although Mr. Li was old, his thoughts were still very active. In the village, weddings and other activities are held on holidays, and most families ask him to write couplets and horizontal screens. Most of the couplets he wrote are embedded with the owner's name or hall number at the beginning, so they are very popular with everyone. In his spare time, he likes to chat with school teachers and talk about poems and couplets. Sometimes I can't help it I stretched my voice, sang loudly and read ancient poems. He wrote new poems and likes to share them with the teachers at school. When the teacher is in class, he will put more than half a basin of water in the teacher's dormitory, so that the teacher can wash the chalk dust off his hands after class. We are embarrassed to disturb his father. He said that people used to do this in private schools. During the chat, he talked about the Eight Scenes of Lu Tian and said that he really wanted to write poems for the Eight Scenes of Lu Tian. He showed me two and a half poems. Two poems are about lions like rocks, and the other half only wrote two poems about clocks. The first poem is: "Yan said that the lion elephant is pure and strange, and the predecessors did not know it;" "Today, when the country reformed, it was discovered that it was miraculous and separated from the south." The second poem is: "the lion was originally made of stone and stood at the door like a lion;" The wonders in the strange rocks are insatiable, and the scholars are happy. "Zhong's two poems are:" The bell hangs on the stone for a long time, and the drum stands on the rock for a thousand years. " "This is the earliest source of poetry materials about lion elephant rock and bell. It may be that the relevant personnel of the cultural station made a mistake in the interview. These poems are said to be carved in caves, but they are not carved in caves.
Shuipu Village is near Lion Elephant Rock, and the surname of the village is Li. Li, the ancestor worship, was buried in Lutian Middle School and was the ancestor worship of most Li families in Conghua and Guangzhou. Shuipu villagers are tough, and some people call it Villain Valley. However, Mr. Li is polite and often speaks with a poem. When I asked about the poems of the other six scenes, he always said "Follow-up". When talking with Mr. Li Jian, I know that Li Lao has never been to the other six scenes, which may be the reason why he didn't write the other six poems.
A year later, I was transferred back to the middle school near the county seat to teach. I haven't let go of the story of eight scenes in Lutian told by Mr. Li Lao. On holidays, I often go back to Lu Tian to chat with Li Lao. He showed me his couplets and poems, and I copied most of them. He knew I had a will and told me a lot of information. He told me the story of the lion elephant rock temple and Yanzhu. He once saw the complete Lion Elephant Rock Temple and the grand occasion of drawing lots in the temple at that time. Since the Japanese burned down the mountain temple, raped women inside and outside the cave and killed many people, he has never been to Lion Mountain again. He hoped that I could finish the poem about eight scenic spots in Lu Tian. Because of this, during my second teaching in Lu Tian, I often climbed Guifeng Mountain, Junzi Mountain, Zhonggu Rock, Lion Elephant Rock and Ma 'anshan with local young artists. Ma 'anshan was a landmark with unique charm before it was destroyed. Unfortunately, it was destroyed for small profits, and now it is not worthy of the name. At the same time, the newly built stone cave near Guifeng Mountain was also destroyed. No amount of money and effort can make up for the stupid things driven by interests.
Last year, I climbed the steepest mountain among the eight scenic spots. Now, there is only the triangle mountain that is not too difficult. Although it is not difficult to climb the triangle mountain, it is a bit inconvenient and there are still many materials. I have retired for five years, and I don't want to wait any longer. So I wrote a group poem of eight scenes in Lu Tian. Data collection has been intermittent for more than forty years. Because the two and a half poems "Lion Elephant Rock" and "Bell" were written by Mr. Li Chengjiu, and he also told me a lot of information, I will say that I collected and sorted out this group of poems! Originated from Mr. Li Lao, I finished it in my hand, and there are still many related materials left. I don't know the rhythm of poetry, so I can't write it in the form of metrical quatrains, but only in the form of free verse. I hope I can use these poems to comfort Mr. Li. I will write it in the form of meter when I study it, so it won't be like this.
