After the closing time, the time blanket at the corresponding kilometer stops working, and the corresponding road section resumes social traffic. Within the specified closing time, competitors who have not completed the corresponding distance must immediately stop the race and quit the track to avoid danger. Retired athletes can take the bus at the reception station along the way or choose to take public transportation to reach the clothes collection area at the end. In order to continue to give back to loyal runners and encourage high-level runners to participate in the Guangzhou Marathon, this year, the organizing committee will continue to set up channels for loyal runners and elite runners: if loyal runners and elite runners sign up for this year's Guangzhou Marathon, they can get the qualification directly without drawing lots. Loyal runners refer to runners who have participated in the Guangzhou Marathon for eight consecutive years (20 12 years) (regardless of events; Elite runners refer to runners who have participated in previous Guangzhou marathons and meet the following requirements: within 3 hours and 30 minutes for men and 3 hours and 50 minutes for women.
