Randeng Temple is located in Luodai Ancient Town under San 'e Mountain in the middle of Longquan Mountain in Longquanyi District, Chengdu, only 18km west of Chengdu. It is a famous temple in the history of music education in Chengdu. It has been 1400 years, and its influence is spread all over northern Sichuan. Since the Sui Dynasty, there have been the Shanmen (including the East Building), Sichuan Daxiong Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Niangniang Hall, Daxiong Hall (Luohantang), Guanyin Hall, and the Burning Buddha Hall, which are magnificent.
At present, there are a large number of Qing Dynasty steles in the temple, mainly including the old stele re-engraved, including Preface to Rain Prayer of Mother Shengshan, Rain Prayer Record of Ruiying Temple in Lingquan County, Re-engraved Monument of Ruiying Temple in Notre Dame Hill, Notre Dame Monument and so on. These inscriptions mainly record the corresponding deeds of Chu letter and the historical evolution of Randeng Temple.
