A summary of primary school students' scientific quality competition activities

I. Basic information of activities

In order to improve the comprehensive quality of young science teachers in our district and build a platform for young teachers to exercise themselves and show their self-style, the teaching and research section of xx District held a science teacher literacy competition for young primary schools in Changzheng Street Primary School in xx City from May 16 to May 19.

(1) Registration status.

Participants come from 33 schools. The competition is divided into four parts: speech, defense, written test of scientific knowledge and experiment. The judges are Dong Min, a scientific researcher in xx District, Ma Ning, a primary school teacher in Changzheng Street, and Liang Lina, a primary school teacher in xx, Shi Sheng.

(ii) Organization

At the beginning of May, Dong Min, a scientific researcher in xx District, took the lead in holding a preparatory meeting for the quality competition in the experimental primary school, and the contestants drew lots on the date and order of the lecture. This activity received strong support and full cooperation from Changzheng Street Primary School. The school undertakes the work of site layout, preparation of teaching facilities and equipment, and video recording. It has provided a strong guarantee for the smooth development of this quality competition.

Second, the harvest and enlightenment

This young teachers' quality competition is not only a grand meeting of science teachers' classroom teaching skills in our region, but also a big stage to discover and cultivate young backbone teachers and realize the leading role of subject teaching. The jury agreed that most of the science teachers who participated in this activity had strong professional quality and carefully prepared the contents of the competition. The following will analyze the teaching contents of the top six players in this competition one by one. The presentation of the lecture must meet the following requirements: 1, manuscript release 2, courseware 3, and reasonable design of the lecture manuscript.

These three conditions are necessary for oral English class. If you want to achieve better results, you must have your own uniqueness. The six teachers analyzed below have their own uniqueness in these aspects.

1. Wang Chan Changzheng Street No.3 Primary School

The content of Wang Chan's lecture is "The Formation of Rain", aiming at innovating the experimental mode. First of all, she made a detailed analysis of the teaching materials. This paper analyzes the position of this unit in the textbook, as well as the role of this lesson in the unit, the contents of the previous two lessons and this lesson. She also made a correct analysis of her study. It can be said that these careful analysis before class laid a good foundation for the success of her classroom design. Next, the teaching link she designed followed the main line of scientific inquiry, and paid attention to the thinking elements used by children in constructing scientific concepts, which made her design content targeted, all the contents were interlocking around the main line, and the lecture content was meticulous and appropriate, which highlighted the innovation of her experimental model. In the introduction, teacher Wang Chan used a video of watching TV to beg for rain, which aroused students' cognitive conflict and made students' desire to explore more strongly. In this lesson, the experimental model of rain formation made by Mr. Wang Chan makes use of the materials available at hand, so that students can see the experimental phenomena accurately and clearly and infer the experimental conclusions. It can be said that it is a highlight of this class. In addition, in the process of teaching, Wang Chan's decent behavior and generous performance helped her achieve excellent results.

3. Experimental Zhao Li

Teacher Zhao Li's lecture on "The Propagation of Light" first analyzes the whole clue of the book, and then analyzes the unit of "light" and the specific content of all activities in this class, which can be said to be detailed and concrete. In the analysis of learning situation, in addition to analyzing the knowledge base and skill base that junior three students should have, it also points out the difficulties that students may encounter in learning, and designs corresponding links to break through these problems. In the process of leading students to know the light source, Mr. Zhao Li pays special attention to guiding students to find the light source from life, and uses brainstorming to cultivate children's divergent thinking. In the process of guiding students' experiments, Mr. Zhao Li encouraged children to put forward their own ideas boldly, design their own experiments, and finally draw a conclusion, which reflected a complete inquiry process. It is worth mentioning that in the course of after-class defense, Mr. Zhao Li explained the process of preparing experimental materials. In order to let students see the obvious experimental phenomenon, after many attempts, he finally chose the most suitable material for the experiment. Throughout the lecture, Mr. Zhao Li cultivated students' practical ability, divergent thinking and innovative thinking by expanding experimental activities.

3. Manor Dongting

What impressed me most about teacher Dong Ting's lecture "Running Water" was the experimental equipment she prepared for students. As we all know, this class should guide students to play with small waterwheels, and on this basis, explore "what is the relationship between the factors of small waterwheels' speed and what". This is a comparative experiment. In the traditional experimental equipment, it can be said that it is inconvenient for students to operate, especially for the third-grade students, the students' hands-on ability is relatively weak, so teachers should prepare materials for students that are convenient to operate, can easily draw experimental results and are easy to observe. Teacher Dong has prepared an iron shelf, a rubber tube and a plastic water bottle. This problem is well solved. This model should be in the top three among the teachers I have seen in this class. Moreover, teacher Dong Ting's classroom design strictly follows the new curriculum standard concept with scientific inquiry as the core and students as the main body, and pays attention to all students. When guiding students to guess the factors that affect the rotation speed of small waterwheels, we can first guide students to feel in play, then guess the factors and assume the results, so that students can experience a complete thinking process.

4. Zhang Shuai, affiliated to Normal University

Teacher Zhang Shuaitong gives a lecture. The content is "The Secret of Burning", which is a class that primary school students are very interested in. Therefore, with interest as the main line, Teacher Zhang designed four links: creating situations to make things interesting, carefully observing experiments to make things interesting, scientifically exploring questions to stimulate interest, expanding and extending emotions to increase interest, and stimulating interest in learning through experiments. Lead students through the scientific inquiry process of "asking questions, making guesses, designing experiments, verifying experiments, collecting and sorting out information, and drawing conclusions", and gain a sense of success and self-confidence in the process, and then use scientific inquiry method and experimental teaching method to successfully break through the teaching emphases and difficulties of this lesson. Finally, by guiding students to watch some common burning phenomena in daily life, let students realize the benefits and harm that burning brings to us and cultivate students. Clear thinking, accurate grasp of teaching materials, successfully achieved the teaching objectives, improved the teaching effect, stimulated students' interest in science courses, cultivated students' rigorous scientific attitude and improved students' scientific literacy.

5. Zhang from Liulin Primary School

Teacher Zhang's lecture is about the wonderful use of wheels, which is novel in two aspects. First of all, the idea is new. Teacher Zhang successfully introduced the form of flip class into science class, and put the content of understanding pulley before class, so that students can consult the materials before class to understand. At the beginning of the class, let the students report first, then the teacher will guide them, and then guess and experiment on the problem. Second, the materials are new. In order to achieve better experimental results, Mr. Zhang reformed the experimental instruments, and selected an iron platform with more suitable height and stability and new Lego experimental materials for assembly, which not only ensured the experimental results, but also stimulated students' interest in inquiry and exercised their practical ability.

6. Yang Chunbo of Changzheng Street Primary School

Teacher Yang said that the content of this course is the roots of plants. First of all, Mr. Yang investigated the students' pre-concept of root, and based on this, formulated the content of this lesson. Focusing on the types and functions of plant roots, she took scientific inquiry as the main line and designed three links: initial root, observation root and exploration root. These three links are step by step, and the problem design is closely related to the theme. Let students gradually understand the types and functions of roots in independent inquiry. In class, Teacher Yang prepared various blackboard books, which attracted students' attention and aroused their interest in inquiry, laying a good foundation for highlighting key points and breaking through difficulties.
