108000÷3÷360= 100 Li/day.
At first, the Tang Priest estimated that it would take three years, plus the distance to come back, and he needed to run 200 miles a day. It is said that riding a good horse "travels thousands of miles a day and 800 miles at night", and it should be possible to run 200 miles a day.
The Tang Priest has gone out of town, and he thought about it later. There is a follower who can't run so fast after him, so he evaluates it again:
He added, "Disciples, it may be three or two years, or five or seven years after I go, but I will come back as soon as I see the east-facing gate of Marie Laure Gigon. Otherwise, you can't go back. "
In other words, you can walk 100 miles a day and come back in seven years. Tang Priest's speed is actually ok. When Tang Priest arrived in Kannonji, he had a rough figure.
"Sir, how long does it take to get here from Dongtu?" "Chang 'an is more than 5,000 miles out of bounds," Sanzang said. Over two mountains, I took a little apprentice and walked all the way through Xifan Haha Country. After two months, I walked five or six thousand miles to get to you. "
One is more than five thousand li, and the other is five or six li. Take the middle value of the following data and calculate it as 5500 miles. When you arrive in Kannonji, walk 10500 Li. Arrived in Kannonji in the early spring of the following year.
Time flies and it's early spring again, but I see the mountains are green and the plants are green. Meiying was exhausted and her eyes were open. ..... Monkey looked up and said, "It's not a temple, it must be a temple. Let's catch up and spend the night there. " Sanzang readily obeyed.
In the early spring, we calculated that it was a little over January, and it took the Tang Priest about four months to get to Kannonji. That is 120 days.
10500÷ 120≈90 Li. This speed is similar to the seven years estimated by Tang Priest. (Counting the time when he came back, he didn't know that he would fly after he got the Buddhist scriptures. )
Walking a Vandory is equivalent to walking a tenth of the distance. However, we actually took110 before Wuzhuangguan.
Friar Sand asked, "Brother, how far are we from Lei Yin?" "A hundred and eight thousand Li," Monkey said. . "We haven't stopped at ten stops." The above passage was asked by Friar Sand before he arrived at Wuzhuangguan, and the Monkey King gave a data. Arriving in Wuzhuangguan is the spring of the sixteenth year of Zhenguan, and arriving in Kannonji is the spring of the fourteenth year of Zhenguan. That is to say, it took Tang Priest more than two years to walk, only one tenth, which shows how tortuous the road is.
Tang Priest experienced 81 difficulties in learning Buddhist scriptures. Eighty-one difficulties have not met eighty-one monsters. Tang Priest began to count from the moment he was born, and four difficulties were recorded when he studied Buddhist scriptures. Meeting a monster once is not a disaster, but some monsters can cause 2-3 disasters. Meeting Huang Paoguai, for example, can be considered as three difficulties: twenty-one is difficult to leave the black pine forest, twenty-two is difficult to send books and treasures to the country, and twenty-three is difficult to turn the golden palace into a tiger.
Judging from the whole inventory, during the fourteen years of Tang Priest's Buddhist scriptures, there were many monsters in some years, but no matter how many, they did not exceed three waves. In some years, there is only one wave of monsters in a year, and sometimes there is no monster in a whole year, which shows that the monsters have not delayed them much time, and it is that rush that really costs Tang Priest a lot of time.
Tang Priest is a diligent man. According to his previous speed, he could reach the Leiyin Temple in three or four years, but he walked one way for 14 years, which shows that the actual distance is far more than 108000 Li.
