Sean Temple has a history of over 1800 years, with a total area of 42 100 square meters. Surrounded by five mountains and two rivers, human landscape and natural landscape are integrated.
The ancient architectural complex of Sean Temple is built on the mountain, and its nine courtyards are scattered, including archway, footbridge, Sanqing Hall, main hall, north and south gardens, stone-worshipping pavilion, heart-washing pool, staircase, grass pavilion, book-giving building and valley-avoiding pavilion.
According to legend, after Sean assisted Liu Bang in his imperial career, he lived in seclusion here. Later generations admired his strategy of "preserving our sanity" and the high wind of "not living in a successful place", and built a temple here to worship. Because he was named Liu Hou, he was named Liu Hou Temple, commonly known as Sean Temple. On May 25th, 2006, Sean Temple was announced by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

During the Chu-Han War, it was proposed that Ying Bu, Han Xin and Peng Yue would be linked by Chu instead of the descendants of the Six Kingdoms, and Qin Jun would finally be annihilated. After the establishment of the Han Dynasty, he was enfeoffed to stay in Jiangsu as Liu Hou. Sean, Xiao He and Han Xin are also called "three outstanding heroes of early han dynasty", and Liu Bang once called him "strategic planning wins the battle thousands of miles away".
Shortly after Liu Bang ascended the throne, he successively killed Han Xin and other heroes.
