The 2023 xi 'an Marathon was hosted by Shaanxi Provincial Sports Bureau and Xi Municipal People's Government, undertaken by Xi Municipal Sports Bureau, Xi Culture and Tourism Bureau and Xi Qujiang New District Management Committee, and co-organized by Xi Athletics Management Center and Xi Athletics Association.
In order to ensure the safety of participating athletes, social traffic is closed for a limited time. Each section of the competition route has a special competition deadline. When it is closed, the timing carpet at the corresponding kilometer stops working, and the corresponding road section resumes social traffic.
Within the specified closing time, athletes who have not completed the corresponding distance must immediately stop the race and quit the track to avoid danger. Athletes who drop out of the competition can take the shelter car along the way to the finish line, or choose to leave by public transport.
On June 29th, 2023, 10, 2023 Xi 'an Marathon started on the east side of Mennan Square in Xi 'an Yongning. After the race, Dong from China won the men's marathon in 2 hours 10 minutes and 45 seconds, and Dong from China won the women's marathon in 2 hours, 40 minutes and 24 seconds.

Half Marathon Project: East of Yongningmen South Square (starting point) → South Street → Bell Tower → East Street → East Gate → North Section of Huancheng East Road → Chaoyangmen Tunnel → North Section of Huancheng East Road → Taihua South Road → Taihua North Road → Yongtai Road → Chanba Second Road → Guangyuntan Avenue → Eurasia Avenue → Exhibition No.1 Road → Exhibition No.1 Road.
Happy Running Project: Panlu (starting point) on the east side of Yongningmen South Square → South Street → Zhonglou Panlu → East Street → Dongmen Panlu → North Section of Huancheng East Road → Chaoyangmen Tunnel → North Section of Huancheng East Road → Taihua South Road → Wang Xiansan Road → Daming Palace Yudao Square (end point).
