Is the highest peak in Europe Elbrus or Mont Blanc?
Mount Elbrus, located in the Russian Caucasus, is the highest peak in Europe, with an altitude of 5642 meters. Its geographical coordinates are 43 degrees 2 1 min north latitude and 42 degrees 26 minutes east longitude. "Erfeng" is located at the junction of Europe and Asia. Although the mountains here are not very high, the average height of the snow line is about 3000 meters above sea level, so there are rare ice peaks and snow ridges in other parts of Europe (except the Alps in western Europe).
