What are the grouping rules of the World Cup?

FIFA confirmed that the seed team of the World Cup group drawing rules was determined according to the FIFA ranking in June 2009:

1, Brazil, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Argentina, England and host South Africa became 8 seed teams;

2. The second team, including four Asian teams, three teams from Central and North America and the Caribbean and 1 teams from Oceania: Australia, South Korea, Japan, North Korea, the United States, Mexico, Honduras and New Zealand;

The third team includes five African teams and three South American teams: Algeria, Cameroon, Nigeria, C? te d 'Ivoire, Ghana, Paraguay, Chile and Uruguay;

The fourth team, the remaining eight European teams: Denmark, France, Greece, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.

South Africa automatically becomes A 1, and other seed teams are allocated to B 1 to H 1 by drawing lots. South Africa cannot be grouped with other African teams, nor can Brazil and Argentina be grouped with other South American teams.
