Is wps randomly sorted?

Let's explain the method of random sorting. In the following table, B2: B 126 is a list, arranged in stroke order. To check the final effect, a serial number column is added to the left of the name.

Operating steps:

1. Add a column to the right of the list, enter "=RAND ()" in the cell to the right of the name (C2 in this case), and then press Enter. You can see that the random function rand () generates a random number.

2. Select the C2 cell again, double-click the fill handle in the lower right corner of the cell, and Excel will automatically fill in the random series on the right side of each name.

3. Select the cell to the right of the full name from the C2 cell, which is C2:C 126 in this example, then enter "=RAND ()", which can be seen in the edit bar and C2 cell, and finally press "Ctrl+Enter" to fill the random number into the whole selected range.

4. Select a cell in C2:C 126, click the sort button in the toolbar and select "A→Z" or "Z→A". At this time, Excel automatically arranges the whole A 1:B 126 randomly by "expanding the selected area".

5. When sorting, the random function in column C generates new random numbers again, so the sorted column C does not seem to be arranged in ascending or descending order. But this does not affect the expected results. In the future, every time you click the Sort button, Excel will perform a new random sort.
