The footwork movements and basic footwork of shuttlecock
1, footwork movement
Footwork is the soul of action. Without skilled footwork skills, it is impossible to turn passivity into initiative in the competition. There are generally eight kinds of footwork movements. They are forward progress, backward step, sliding step, cross step, parallel step, stride, twist step and running step. Only by being familiar with the mobile application of various footwork can we be more active and flexible in the competition.
2. Basic footwork
Kick the ball on the inside of the foot? Knee joint extended outwards, thigh turned outwards, slightly swinging upwards, not too big. Hip and knee joints are relaxed, and the calf swings upward. When kicking shuttlecock, the ankle joint exerts force and the foot is flat. Kick the ball with the inner arch. It is mainly used in passing and catching the ball, so to be an excellent player, whether it is a passer, setter or attacker, you must have excellent skills.
Kick outside the foot? Tilt slightly, kick your calf aside, hook your toes, and kick the ball with the outside of your foot. Note that if you want to get a lower ball support point, you must bend the support foot properly, and you should also pay attention to putting your body's center of gravity on the support foot.
