Dongguan co-education policy for men, women and children

Dongguan co-education policy is as follows:

With the gradual relaxation of the birth policy, the demand for children from families with many children to study in the same school has gradually increased. This year, in order to further solve the traffic difficulties of this kind of families, the Municipal Education Bureau conducted a questionnaire survey in the early stage to obtain the enrollment demand, and actively solved the enrollment demand of families with many children in the same school on the basis of balancing the needs of all parties.

Specifically, in terms of public schools, towns and streets (parks) should reasonably formulate the application conditions, handling procedures and adjustment methods for brothers and sisters of families with many children to enter the same school under the same guardian in combination with the actual local public education resources, and actively solve the traffic difficulties for children of families with many children to go to school.

If a private school still has a surplus of private degrees after meeting the enrollment needs of "direct students" and "government-purchased services", 50% of the remaining private degrees will give priority to meeting the enrollment needs of brothers and sisters of families with many children under the same guardian.

It should be noted that the "co-education regardless of age" in private schools is limited to brothers and sisters of the same family who are currently enrolled in non-graduating classes of compulsory private schools in this city or can be directly admitted to compulsory private schools in the fall of 2023, and their brothers and sisters need to apply for the first grade of primary school or the first grade of junior high school this year.

If the number of degree programs provided by "Admission with the same school" exceeds the number of applicants, all of them will be admitted, and the number of remaining degree programs will be increased to the number of "computer allocation" programs. If the number of degree programs offered is less than the number of applicants, private schools will draw lots in advance to determine. Students who are drawn by lottery cannot participate in computer allocation, and students who fail to draw by lottery can continue to participate in computer allocation.

The municipal education bureau said that the policy of co-education for men, women and children is to solve the objective difficulties of parents' transportation, not to choose schools. Therefore, when the degree is adjusted, all towns and streets (parks) will try their best to actively solve the problem of co-education, but they may not be able to meet the needs specified by each parent. I hope parents understand and support.
