Xiyue temple
Legend has it that Xiyue Temple was built for Hua Yue's God Shao _, and the third Virgin was the goddess on Huashan Mountain. Hua Yue San Niang is smart, beautiful and kind-hearted. In the drought, she prayed for rain, and in the flood, she exerted strength to eliminate it. When the villagers are in trouble, they come to her for everything, and the lottery is all valid. Under her care, the weather is fine and the crops are abundant. People are so grateful to her that they call her the "Three Empresses of Hua Yue". In order to repay her kindness, she built a temple specially for her in Xiyue Temple-the Notre Dame Hall of Xiyue Temple. The temple is dedicated to the three Notre Dames of Huashan, namely, Huayue Sanniang, her son Aquilaria sinensis, and Ganoderma lucidum, the maid of the three Notre Dames. The beautiful and dignified Hua Yue San Niang is not only the goddess of love in the eyes of the world, but also the blessing god in people's hearts.
Xiyue Temple is located at the eastern end of Yuezhen, about 1.5 km east of huayin city, Shaanxi Province. Xiyue Temple is dedicated to the warrior God King of Huashan Mountain in Xiyue, which is the holy land of the mainstream Quanzhen Taoism. Ji Ling Palace was built in Huangfuyukou, the first year of Yuanguang in the Western Han Dynasty. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was moved to its present site and later renamed Xiyue Temple, which was an important place for emperors to worship the God of Huashan. The temple covers an area of 124000 square meters. There are many inscriptions on Xiyue Temple, including Kazuki Watanabe musician Temple Monument in the later Zhou Dynasty, Huashan Monument in Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty in Ming Dynasty, and Huashan Lying Map in Wanli Period of Ming Dynasty. At the beginning of the picture are poems and pictures about Huashan by famous people such as Wang Wei, Li Bai, Du Fu and Chen Tuan in the Tang and Song Dynasties, as well as the stone forehead of the imperial book Lian Yue Lingshu during the Qianlong period.
In Qing Dynasty, Xiyue Temple was built twice. Once in the forty-fourth year of Kangxi, it is difficult to know the details of the tablet "Rebuilding Yue Temple by King James" because it is not recorded in detail. The second overhaul was in the forty-two years of Qianlong, because Xiyue God "has been in good weather in recent years and has repeatedly shown great power". In particular, Bi Yuan, the governor of Shaanxi Province, said that Xiyue Temple had already declined and was in urgent need of repair. Emperor Qianlong did not hesitate to allocate122,000 yuan for Bi Yuan's discretion, and ordered Bi Yuan to repair Xiyue Temple to ensure that the project was solid and the temple was completely new.
