The 2023 World Table Tennis Championships (English: 2023) is the 57th World Table Tennis Championships. The final stage of this tournament was held in Durban International Convention Center, South Africa from May 20 to 28, 2023. This is the second time that the World Table Tennis Championships have been held in Cairo, Egypt after 1939.

In the mixed doubles final, Wang Dui defeated Japan's Zhang Benzhi and/or 3-0, achieving two consecutive World Table Tennis Championships. In the men's doubles final, Fan Zhendong/Wang defeated the Korean team/Lin Zhongxun 3-0 and won the men's doubles championship for the first time. In the women's doubles final,/Wang Yidi defeated South Korea's Tian/Shen Yubin 3-0 and won the championship. In the women's singles final, Sun Yingsha beat Chen Meng 4-2 and won her first world table tennis singles title. In the men's singles final, Fan Zhendong defeated teammate Wang 4-2 and won the championship.

On May 30, 2022, the organizing committee of the competition released the competition logo:LOGO adopts the color of the South African flag and incorporates the elements of the South African national flower, which reflects the inclusiveness of table tennis in the host country, Africa and the world.

On the evening of February 27th, 2023, ITTF announced the mascot of the 2023 Durban World Table Tennis Championships-hippo "Takuma". This tournament is the first time to return to Africa after the 1939 Cairo World Table Tennis Championships.
