Nanping is a prefecture-level city in Fujian Province, located in the north of Fujian Province, southeast of the northern section of Wuyi Mountain, and at the junction of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces, commonly known as "northern Fujian". Nanping is one of the earliest developed areas in Fujian. It is also the largest administrative region in Fujian Province, with jurisdiction over Shaowu, Wuyishan, Jian 'ou and Jianyang, Shunchang, Pucheng, Guangze, Songxi, Zhenghe and Yanping districts, with a total population of 3.05 million and an area of 26,300 square kilometers.
Nanping Experimental Primary School, referred to as Nanping Primary School for short, is located at Wenti Road 106. It was founded in March 1938, and its predecessor was Zhang Yu Primary School. 1957 In February, the school was identified as one of the first batch of 16 key primary schools by the Provincial Department of Education, and it was officially renamed as Nanping Experimental Primary School in Fujian Province. 1999 won the title of "Baishifan Primary School" at the provincial level through acceptance. In June 2020, it was awarded "the third batch of national defense education characteristic schools" by the Ministry of Education.
