There has been a Guanyin Hall in Xianhe Temple since history, which is dedicated to Guanyin, the master of helping the poor. Taoism calls Guanyin a real person.
Cihang real person is commonly known as avalokitesvara, also known as avalokitesvara with thousands of hands and eyes. In people's minds, Guanyin Bodhisattva is a merciful Buddhist Bodhisattva who hears the news to help the poor. How can she become a Taoist fairy again? Taoism has its own statements and records here. Cihang is one of the earliest immortals in Taoism. As early as Shang Dynasty, it was recorded that Cihang was one of the twelve disciples of the Buddha in Yuan Dynasty. Before the Zhou Dynasty, when Jiang Ziya helped Zhou Wuwang destroy Zhou Wang, he was helped by the real people of Cihang to surrender heresy and Jin Guangxian. This Jin Guangxian was transformed by a golden lion, and later this golden lion became a real person's mount. Therefore, in some Taoist temples, under the seat of Cihang is a golden lion, referred to as the Golden Lion for short, with eight golden lion heads on its head, so it is also called the Nine Golden Lions.

According to legend, there was a village in ancient times. Due to natural disasters, the real people of Cihang couldn't bear to see all beings suffer from this disaster, so they diverted to save the suffering of all people. After surviving the disaster of all beings, the real person of Cihang returned to heaven. This day is February 19 of the lunar calendar, so this day has become a day for Tzu Hang to help others.
According to legend, Cihang, a real person, took a precious mirror from a moral gift and crossed Mount Putuo to the East China Sea to meet the Queen Mother of the West. He accidentally dropped the precious mirror in the East China Sea. The light from this precious mirror just shines on a carp essence who is practicing in the East China Sea, turning him into a beautiful woman named Ling Boxian. Ling Bo, a fairy, needs the help of human aura to cultivate human form, so she looks for the spirit of virgins everywhere. It is heartbreaking that young men and women die from time to time because of the fairy Ling Bo. People are angry and complain. When the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother of the West heard about it, they sent the heavenly generals to inquire about it, only to know that it was a precious mirror that was lost by the real person Cihang, that is, they ordered the real person Cihang to descend to earth, and then returned to heaven to atone for the carp essence. For this reason, the real person Cihang went down to Putuo Mountain to practice, waiting for the carp essence to appear and surrender to him. In order to surrender the ever-changing carp essence, the real person Cihang turned into a daughter, standing on the blue waves, waiting for the carp essence to appear. In the ever-changing, it is impossible to surrender carp essence, so it is difficult to surrender. Seeing this, the moral god gave Cihang a real treasure, that is, the way to see the world with thousands of hands. One day, the fairy Ling Bo turned into a goldfish and swam in the sea. The real person Cihang used a thousand hands and eyes to catch goldfish with a basket. After the carp essence surrendered, it was transformed into a real person, and then it came to fruition. This day is June 19th of the lunar calendar, which is a day of success endowed by God. In order to thank Guanyin Bodhisattva for her help, the rescued Li people dedicated June 19 to the birth of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
In order to surrender the carp essence, the real person Cihang became a daughter, but after returning to heaven, she forgot to turn her daughter into a suitable body. Seeing this, the Jade Emperor Buddha ordered the real person to speed back to Luojiashan to correct himself, and the time must not be wrong. However, by the time the real man returned to the end of Luojia Mountain, the time had been delayed. So the day he sat up on the lotus platform, he still couldn't recover his masculine body, but he had the image of a man's foot. This day is the 19th day of the ninth lunar month, and it is a day of great success and enlightenment for Cihang. When people saw the real Cihang sitting on the lotus platform and rising to the status of the god of the celestial world, they carved his image into a statue to be offered at home, which was passed down from generation to generation and had a far-reaching impact.
