Located 20 kilometers north of Qufu, it is located in the north of Wucun Town, Qufu City. The west and north of the mountain are adjacent to Ningyang County. Covering an area of more than 2700 hectares, there are 9 peaks in the vast expanse, with the main peak at an altitude of 548 meters, which is the highest peak in Qufu. Mountains crisscross, springs and streams meet, and trees are dense, rich in dried and fresh fruits. More than 40 places of interest, represented by Bi Xia Temple, are scattered among the beautiful mountains and rivers of Mingshan Mountain, with green mountains and green waters and full of aura, becoming another famous mountain between Lunantai and Yi Song, known as "Little Mount Tai". Beautiful scenery, beautiful valleys, cool and pleasant climate in summer and fragrant flowers and fruits in autumn are a good place to enjoy the cool scenery in summer and experience folk life. The ancient mountaintop temple has been restored. It was once the site of the battle between Qilu and Changshao at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period. There is a Confucius stone on the mountain, which looks like a statue of Confucius. Strange stones in the mountains around Jiuxian Mountain have different shapes and vivid images, including Phoenix Mountain, Confucius Stone, Divine Fish Stone, Ox Leg Stone, censer Stone and Chessboard Stone.
Jiuxian Mountain is built along the river according to the "Red Gate Palace", including Xianren Bridge, Jelly Longjing, Black Dragon Pool, Kannonji, Wudi Temple, Huatuo Temple, Wang Mu Palace, Confucius Boarding Place, Yanzi Cave, Meng Mu Xiezishi, Wuqiying Village, Hujiabing City, Heifengkou, Santianmen, Zhongtianmen, Wang Anqiu Tomb Group and Loudou Temple. There are many beautiful folklores in these historic sites, such as "Stone Plate Meeting Immortals", "Nine Immortals Fox Immortals", "Nine Women's Hall" and "Nine Immortals Descending to Earth".
