Faxi Temple is now Shangtianzhu Temple. There are three Tianzhu temples in Hangzhou, which are called "Upper Tianzhu Temple, Middle Tianzhu Temple and Lower Tianzhu Temple". They were named Faxi Temple, Fajing Temple and Fajing Temple respectively.
Faxi Temple was founded in the Five Dynasties and Yue Dynasties, formerly known as Tianzhu Kanjing Academy. During the reign of Qing Qianlong, it was renamed "Faxi Temple", which is the largest of the three temples in Tianzhu.
Although Faxi Temple is not as famous as Lingyin Temple, it is also full of incense and pilgrims, which is less lively and more beautiful than Lingyin Temple itself. Faxi Temple is built on the mountain, including Buddhist Sutra Hall, Shuangfeng Hall, Thousand Buddha Pavilion, Shuiyue Building and Huanghua Pavilion. As the steps rise, one pavilion is higher than the other. When you come to the top and look down, you will see a patchwork attic with faint trees and all kinds of flowers, which gives people a refreshing feeling and is really beautiful.
The garrison in Faxi Temple can be said to be a must-buy, not only because of its beautiful and compact shape, but also because it symbolizes the yearning for a better life, so it is also a blessing to tie it to the body. Of course, the most popular is the defense of marriage.
Take a bus to Faxi Temple, get off at Tianzhu Station and walk about 500 meters. There are buses 103, 13 14 in this station, with convenient transportation. Those who want to get married can take bus 13 14.
