In the 7-game tournament, the heroes in the first 6 games cannot be reused, and the 7 th game is selected blindly. In other words, in the first six games of BO7, the hero used by our own side can no longer be used (the other side is not affected), and there are 4 forbidden places in each game.
If the game enters the seventh game, it will enter the "peak confrontation" mode, and the opponent selected by the team is invisible, and the player can choose any hero without restriction. Note: BP rules only apply to the playoffs and finals of kpl autumn competition.
Under the new rules, the two sides will adopt the global BP model in the first six games of BO7 in the playoffs, and the used heroes can't be used again (the other side is not affected), which means that besides the popular heroes, more heroes will get the opportunity to play, and the fun and unpredictability of the game will be improved.
In South Korea, where e-sports is highly mature, for a long time, the deciding game of League of Legends adopted the "blind selection" system, which also gave birth to many wonderful classic shots and pushed the game to a new height. Generally speaking, this B/P reform is more like a brand-new upgrade of KPL's own viewing experience.
Extended data:
Brief introduction of competition system
In the regular season, the home and away game system in the East-West Division is implemented. The regular season starts every Friday (Wednesday to Sunday) 18:00. Two games a day (one in Shanghai and one in Chengdu) changed from the original best of three games (BO3) to best of five games (BO5).
Teams in the East-West Division have met twice, once at home and once away, and the home team has the priority to choose the side. Teams in the same division only played one game, and the priority of the right to choose sides was decided by drawing lots before the game. In the end, the top four teams in the East-West Division advanced to the playoffs, and the fifth and sixth teams in each division fell into relegation.
