Yongfu temple and Daoguang Temple are both ancient temples with a history of 1600 years. Their Buddhist nature is very effective, incense is strong, and prayer is more spiritual.
Lingyin Temple actually includes Lingyin Temple, Feilaifeng and yongfu temple and Taoguang Temple behind it. Yongfu temple is in front of Lingyin Temple 100 meters, but compared with the tourists in Lingyin Temple, it is very quiet here. After enjoying the grandeur of Lingyin Temple, I feel that yongfu temple is too exquisite, and every courtyard is just right. All the buildings are built according to the mountain, namely: Puyuan Jingyuan, Jialing Lecture Hall, Fuquan Temple and Yanzihui Garden. As old as Lingyin Temple, it has been 1600 years.
Even in yongfu temple, there is a tea garden and a small tea room, where you can enjoy tea leisurely without the noise of Lingyin Temple and feel the inner peace.
There are even fewer tourists coming to Taoguang Temple. It takes about 20 minutes to walk up the mountain road after coming out of Lingyin Temple, because all the way is an upward staircase, which tests physical strength and spirit. If you want to visit the whole Lingyin Temple scenic spot, you need to make an appointment for more than 4 hours.
Daoguang Temple is a temple with both Buddhism and Taoism, including the site of an alchemist in Lv Dongbin and the statue of Lv Dongbin. Different from other temples, Taoguang Temple seems to have the temperament of Jiangnan gardens. The gate of the temple is very special, with white walls and gray arches. Once you enter the gate, you have to go up one layer at a time, namely, Daxiong Hall, Mani Palace, Jinlianchi, Qinyi Mountain Spring, Guan Hai Building and Daoguang Ancestral Hall.
Most of the temples in Taoguang Temple are two-story transparent structures, and the indoor and outdoor areas are integrated through carved doors and windows with their own characteristics. The exposed purple doors and windows with blue bricks and white walls have a unique flavor compared with the traditional temples with yellow as the main color.
On the left side of the central axis are the tea garden and the monk's hut. Tourists and believers can enjoy the beauty of the West Lake while drinking tea in the tea garden. Turn right along the Hall of Great Heroes, which is the most beautiful place in Daoguang Temple. It is simply a small garden in the south of the Yangtze River. In front of it is the famous Jinlian Pool. According to legend, Daoguang Zen Master once planted golden lotus. On the left is An 'ou Pavilion, and on the right is Songfen Pavilion and Guanyin Hall.
The veranda on the second floor of Fa 'an Hall in Taoguang Temple is the best viewing platform for the whole temple. Tourists stand here, with pavilions of different shapes at their feet and Xizi Lake surrounded by mountains in the distance, which is refreshing.
From Taoguang Temple to the top of the mountain, you can also lead to Beifeng. If you have enough physical strength and time, you might as well have a try. Compared with the noisy and commercialized Lingyin Temple below, yongfu temple and Daoguang Temple are quieter and have the essence of Buddhist temples.
Many people complain that Lingyin Temple stinks and tickets are expensive. In fact, the most worthwhile visit to Lingyin Temple is these two low-key Millennium temples. Tickets are actually included, and these two temples don't have to collect mountain fees separately like Lingyin Temple.
