Brief introduction of Ganxian county
Ganxian County, a county under the jurisdiction of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the middle of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, on the upper reaches of Ganjiang River, surrounding the urban area of Ganzhou, "the first county of Ganjiang River in a thousand miles" and "the hometown of dried salted ducks in China". The county seat is a provincial civilized city. 1 Ganxian was named after the record in Shan Hai Jing that "there are giants in Jiangxi in the south". On the other hand, it is named because the two waters meet in Ganzhou to form the Ganjiang River.
