Zhang Ailing's "Red Chamber" Complex

Zhang Ailing loves China's classical novels. A Dream of Red Mansions and Flowers on the Sea are her favorites. In her early years, she created novels and essays that amazed China's modern literary history. In her later years, she turned to the study of A Dream of Red Mansions and the translation of Flowers on the Sea, which once again attracted the admiration of the world. Cao Xueqin's A Dream of Red Mansions was added and deleted five times in ten years, and Zhang Ailing wrote A Dream of Red Mansions in ten years. Zhang Ailing's "Red Chamber" complex is condensed in her charming Chinese characters.

Reading Zhang Ailing-Gorgeous Desolation by Wan Yan, a professor at Tongji University, weaves Zhang Ailing's reading list, literary creation and life experience into a net, showing us the lives of talented strange girls entangled with literature.

In this issue, Ju Zhenjun picks out several passages from Zhang Ailing's Nightmare in the Red Chamber quoted in Reading Zhang Ailing-Gorgeous and Desolate, and gives a glimpse of Zhang Ailing's shocking work of A Dream of Red Mansions as a "red fan". Professor Wan Yan's quotations cover such topics as duet of human nature, dream of homeland, female group image and love myth. His exposition is wise and transparent and worth studying.

But throughout the book, there is no mention of Daiyu's clothes, only the snow appreciation. In order to set off Xing Xiuyan's poverty, everyone's coat was confessed one by one. Daiyu was wearing crimson crepe, a white fox lined with cranes, a belt around her waist and boots on her feet. Cranes must have shawl sleeves, such as crane wings, otherwise the cloak can't be tied with a belt. Clothes, belts and boots are all ancient costumes-even in modern times.

Only on another occasion did Daiyu go to Aunt Xue's house for the eighth time. Seeing that he was wearing a HongLing double-breasted coat, Baoyu asked, "Is it snowing?" ""It's snowing, too, and it's a red coat. It is no accident that there is no mosaic and no timeliness. Lonely Woods on Earth should have an ethereal feeling, and it doesn't necessarily belong to any era.

Qingwen "dresses like a beauty every day" (Wang Shanbao's words), but only writes about her obscene clothes and sleeping shoes. At that time, I just got up and only wore underwear. On his deathbed, Baoyu changed into an "old HongLing coat". The only time I put on my clothes and went to see Mrs. Wang, "I didn't wear much makeup ... my hair was loose, my shirt hung up, it faded, and there was a legacy of spring sleep ..." It was still vague and general. "Shirts droop and wither" seems to be a kind of ancient costume. Like Daiyu, it has no certain era.

Daiyu draws lots to draw hibiscus flowers, Qingwen seals the hibiscus flower god, and "Furong" also holds Daiyu. The Haitang in Hongyiyuan died, and Baoyu thought it was a sign that Qingwen was dead. Begonia "blushes when smeared with oil, and it is as weak as helping the sick." Foot-binding is precisely to create a gesture of "helping the sick". It is very vague to write about Qingwen's foot binding. Daiyu is more delicate, but she can't bind her feet, nor can she write about her foot binding. Foot binding is still very timely. When writing about Daiyu, even her face was almost pure expression. The only concrete thing is the words "My thin face is angry". There are no details in the whole body, only one gesture and one voice.

At the seventy-seventh session of Qingwen, Mrs. Wang said to Baoyu, "Let's pass this year for the time being and move out next year." Because this year is not suitable for migration. In Geng's long batch of sentences, there is such a sentence: "... without this change, the game will have no end, and it will not be reasonable. ..... "Because Baoyu is old, he still lives in the garden with his sisters, which is unreasonable. The reason for "dismissal" is that Baoyu moved out of the Grand View Garden, and there will be "no dismissal" unless he leaves the garden. It can be seen that there is no property seizure below. Of course, if something goes wrong, I will soon become poor, but this has nothing to do with "dismissal".

The seventy-eighth time, I wrote another note: "There are matchmakers coming to ask for relatives one after another, and the people in the Grand View Garden will soon be scattered." Only here did Baoyu know that Baochai had moved out of the garden, which was a big blow to him. "I thought there was such a heartless thing between heaven and earth." Back to the sixty-third, Baochai painted peony, and wrote a poem "Let's be ruthless and moving". Baochai must have the word "heartless" in her evaluation of the love list. Baochai left the garden because it was inconvenient to copy relatives' homes, so she moved out to avoid suspicion, but it was also because of a scandal in the garden that she cherished her reputation and left.

Ming Yi's poem "tihongloumeng" about the death of Daiyu is as follows:

Sad funeral poems,

I don't know if it's true

A wisp of Andrew died for love,

Ups and downs, continue your HongLing?

The last two sentences make it very clear that when Daiyu died, Baoyu was not married or engaged.

Although Baoyu moved out of the garden, Baodai still met with Grandmother Jia every day, so Daiyu's death should be before the Jia family's accident.

It seems that the dream of red mansions is over. When the Jia family was convicted, Baoyu was somewhat disappointed and absent-minded, as in the 16th spring when the whole family was very busy and proud.

Breaking up is a tragedy of time. When I was a teenager, I was expelled from the Garden of Eden. What happened at home has happened in the vulgar and gloomy adult world. And the natural career foundation is fragile, so it is not reliable. Seeing through, Baoyu finally became a monk and fulfilled his seemingly unreliable oath to Daiyu.

The most basic and popular way to appreciate A Dream of Red Mansions is to favor a girl in the book. Like a beauty pageant, Shi Xiangyun has the highest voice. Perhaps some people think that modern people like lively girls, and Baochai, a good wife and mother, and Daiyu, who is physically and mentally ill, are behind the times. In fact, since A Dream of Red Mansions, Xiangyun is probably the most popular. Strangely, except for the words "slowly make eyes" and "a curved white arm" outside the bed (No.21back), Xiang Yun is the only one who doesn't describe his face in the protagonist. It seems that he is not beautiful except for a pair of eyes and fair skin. The figure is "like the back of a bee waist ape and a crane mantis". China people are not very interested in it because it is very tall and has very long legs. Her attraction is best expressed in the previous two poems: "The smallest and lightest of all, is truth natural?" ..... She is naive and a little silly, so she is more naive.

Before the edition of 1754, Yuan Fei died in Chapter 58. This has always been the case-the first one has come back 22 times, and the riddle inside predicted that Yuan Chun would die soon. Under the princess's order, the decree was not published in the marriage book, because Jia Jia gave a country's filial piety and a family's filial piety, so he could not get married. After all, it is inconvenient for him to avoid it. It took nearly eighty days to be hired, and Daiyu was probably dying. Otherwise, I really can't get along with Daiyu after marriage. Baoyu won't be isolated from other women like Jia Lian after marriage-the old lady can't live without him and can't help going to see Daiyu every day. There is a sense of dust in their relationship. In contrast, on the one hand, marriage has a rustic atmosphere. Baochai didn't come because of her engagement, and Baodai still ate at the old lady's place until Daiyu fell ill, which was embarrassing-she fell ill for Baoyu's engagement. According to people at that time, she was suspected of being unfaithful, which led to the disloyalty of Daiyu and Zijuan in The Cost Classic, and she politely swept the floor.

Baodai's most fierce quarrel was on the 29th, and then she made up easily and turned away from Daiyu. The thirty-second time, Baoyu was so excited that he listened to Aroma's heartfelt words that he was able to speak confidently to Mrs. Wang to guard against Baochai. The thirty-fourth time, after Baoyu was injured, Daiyu came to visit. Add gold, this scene once gave Jin Chuaner Jiang Yuhan a dream of saying "I'd rather die for you". Finally, this rewrite was changed to say "I would rather die for these people" (see Three Details), and the feelings were concentrated in dispersion, showing a strange understanding between them. At the end of the thirty-fifth, I was going to add a scene of Baodai-visiting again after recovering from injury-so the new change of "only listening to talk in the courtyard, Baoyu calling for quick help" was not connected with the next review. Next time he dies before rewriting. It's a pity that the scene of Bao Dai was cut when it was handy.

These seven times were all emotional * * *, and then almost just marking time, waiting for the tragedy to happen-except for the time when Fine tried Baoyu (the 57th time), but this time, although the feelings were strong, it was not Baodai's face to face, but through Fine.
