The 2023 shatian town Dragon Boat Championship will be held on June 6th at 8:30- 1 1:30 in Sha Tin Dragon Boat Park (Freshwater Lake). At that time, 34 male and female dragon boat teams from 7 villages (communities) in shatian town/Kloc-0 will compete for the championship on Danshui Lake, once again demonstrating the spirit of Shatian Dragon.
On May 12 every year, Sha Tin holds its own Dragon Boat Festival. 17 Dragon boat lovers in the village (community) compete to sign up for the dragon boat race. They think it is an honor to take part in Youlong and row dragon boats. Dragon boat can bring "Dragon God" and good luck. Even those who didn't take part in dragon boat rowing enjoyed watching dragon boat rowing and cheering on the shore.
Dragon boat traffic control in Shatian, Dongguan;
1. No parking is allowed on roads, Shidaihu East Road, Huxi West Road and Liu Heng South Road: from June 9 16: 00 to June 9 14: 00, all vehicles are prohibited from parking (including parking spaces), and those who violate the rules will be towed away.
2. No roads, Time Lake East Road and West Lake Road: June 9 16: 00 to June 9 14: 00, and all motor vehicles are prohibited from entering; Liu Heng South Road: On June 10, 8:00- 14:00, it was completely closed and all motor vehicles were forbidden to enter. If it is really necessary to pass due to an emergency, please contact the on-site duty officer to properly solve it.
This dragon boat race is large in scale, high in grade and wide in influence.
