In the mountains at the junction of Yuanyang County, Honghe County and Jianshui County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, there is a small temple in Yang Silang, which is 30 kilometers away from Nansha Town, Yuanyang New Town. This temple is very magical. Surrounded by water on three sides, there are no highways and caravan roads. But it's very smart. Every year, on the second day of the second lunar month, tens of thousands of pilgrims, carrying high incense, big cocks, fat pigs and tents, cross mountains and make wishes to worship incense. If it works, make a wish for three years; Ask the local villagers why there is Shiro Temple here. According to legend, Yang Silang, whose real name was Yang Yanlang, followed his father Yang Ye's northern expedition in the Northern Song Dynasty. He fought fiercely with the Qidan army in Shuozhou City and was shot through the arm by disorderly arrows, but he didn't mind insisting on desperately guarding the city against the enemy.
Yangsi Temple was built in the third year of Qing Daoguang (A.D. 1823). The temple is made of blue bricks, simple and elegant, and well preserved. The doorframe of the temple is made of stone, which is very regular. The whole ancient temple is divided into three rooms, with a yard inside.
