The examination fee varies from year to year. It was 280 yuan/person last year. This year's expenses have not been announced.
The examination is divided into two parts: written examination and interview. The written test is generally divided into two parts: volume A is Baoji tour guide, Baoji scenic spot, Baoji general situation and Chinese language and literature; Volume B is about laws and regulations and tour guide business. (There will be some fine-tuning of the exam every year) The interview is usually arranged around 10 days after the written test. Interview is the introduction of scenic spots, usually decided by lottery. English tour guides and Chinese tour guides take the same written test, but the interview is answered in English.
The exams in other small languages are the same as those for English tour guides, but what language is used for the interview you applied for?
The results will be announced around February of the following year, and the qualification certificate will be issued in March.
All three parts must pass (interview in volume A and volume B), and you will not get a certificate if you fail in any subject. There is no make-up exam, so you can only take the second year's retake exam.
