Direction finding rules for short-range radio direction finding competition (revised in 2002)

These rules are applicable to 80-meter and 2-meter band short-distance radio direction finding competitions. (a) optional in parks, larger campuses or suburbs, residential areas and other places, but to avoid dangerous areas.

(2) The starting point and the ending point should be as close as possible or mutually used. The final position should be announced to the athletes and clearly defined. (1) During the competition, the number of hidden radio stations is usually greater than the number of players in each group. According to the scale of the competition, 3 to 10 hidden radio stations can be set.

(2) The location of the hidden radio station can be selected where the athletes can reach or where the athletes can't see or reach, but the safety of the athletes and the radio station should be considered. Athletes should not touch the radio station when they are looking for channels.

(3) The distance between the location of the hidden radio station and the beacon and recording instrument of the athletes crossing the stage is within 2 meters.

(four) the distance between the starting point and the hidden radio station is 30-200 meters, and they should be invisible to each other.

(five) the transmission frequency of covert radio stations:

1 and 80m frequency bands are selected in the range of 3.5—3.6MHz, and each station works at different frequencies with the frequency interval not less than 10 KHz.

The 2.2m frequency band is selected within the range of 144- 146 MHz, and each station works at different frequencies with a frequency interval of not less than 50 KHz.

(six) the working state of the covert radio station:

1 and 80m-band direction finding stations continuously and automatically send equivalent telegrams, with carrier power of 0.3- 1W, and vertically polarized waves are emitted by horizontal non-directional vertical antennas.

The 2.2m-band direction-finding radio station continuously and automatically sends out telegraph signals modulated by audio pulses, with a carrier power of 0. 1-0.5W, and uses a horizontal non-directional vertical antenna to emit vertically polarized waves.

(7) Call sign of covert radio station:

1 MoE- or 1 (-)

Moi-or 2-

Channel 3 MOS- or 3 (-)

Channel 4 MOH- or 4 (-)

Station 5 Mo5-or 5 (-)

The shooting speed of the radio station is 25-80 characters per minute.

(eight) the hidden radio station should be marked with the station number or call sign, and equipped with the recording equipment for athletes.

(nine) according to the actual needs to determine whether to set up a navigation mark at the end. Multiple "fake stations" can be set during the competition (no signal is transmitted or the radio station I am looking for is called a fake station), and athletes are not allowed to print "fake stations" after discovering it. False stations are found by mistake and not corrected, or the score of the station is not counted, or not only the score of the station is counted, but also the number of found stations corresponding to the number of found false stations is deducted.

Four, about the setting of signs and the acquisition of certificates.

There are two ways to set icons and obtain vouchers:

1. Set beacon and evidence collection equipment (electronic timer, punch or seal) marked with station number or working frequency band near radio stations (including fake stations), and athletes will collect evidence after confirming to find the station.

2, in the vicinity of radio stations (including fake radio stations) and around the set does not indicate the radio call sign. After discovering the radio station or determining its location, athletes will use the nearest forensic equipment to collect evidence or copy the words marked on the competition card as evidence for discovering the radio station.

The hanging height of the post is 0.3-1.5m. Athletes are not allowed to move the post for any reason. (1) Individual Time Trial

Athletes find the platform in a prescribed or optional order. It is best to find more stations and less time for direction finding (including additional time). According to the number of participants and the form of competition, this competition can be conducted in the form of one final, two or more cumulative results; It can also be conducted in the form of group preliminaries-rematch-finals.

(2) Individual knockout

Each batch starts in groups of two, with one person looking for channels in sequence and the other looking for channels in reverse order. After finding the designated radio station, the one who reaches the finish line first wins (promotion) and enters the next round.

(3) Group projects

Each team consists of 4-6 players, and the gender structure and the number of players in each game are stipulated in the articles of association.

According to the number of teams and the duration of the team competition, different methods can be adopted:

1, in time trial mode. The team's performance is evaluated in the order of the total number of units sought by the team and the total actual time (excluding extra time). Always find the side with more sets and less actual time to win. It is not allowed to accumulate team results repeatedly on the basis of the above individual time trial.

2. Adopt the method of relay race. During the competition, each team will relay according to whether a single person is looking for a single stop or a single person is looking for multiple stops. The performance of the team will be evaluated in the order of the total number of sites found by the team and the total actual time (excluding extra time). Always look for more stations and less total direction finding time to win.

3. Adopt the method of elimination (competition). During the competition, each group starts with a pair (starting from two teams, each team 1 person, and the starting sequence of athletes of each team is arranged by the team as required), one person looks for the table in sequence and the other person looks for the table in reverse order. The first person to reach the finish line gets one point, and the last one gets zero point. The team with the specified score wins. (1) Before the competition, the starting batch or competition position of athletes shall be determined by drawing lots.

(2) The starting point needs to set up a preparatory area and a starting line for athletes to concentrate.

(3) Athletes should bring their own direction finder. The signal radiated by the direction finder in the competition frequency range cannot be heard by the receiver with 3-5 microvolts sensitivity beyond 10 meter.

(4) Athletes must wear numbered cloth issued by the organizer and carry the competition certificate as required.

(5) The specified time, departure interval, the number and number of stops in each group, the order of finding stops, and whether there is a beacon at the end of each race shall be announced to the athletes before the competition.

(6) Athletes must complete the competition on foot independently, and shall not assist or get assistance from others.

(7) The departure interval of each batch of athletes is 1-3 minutes.

(8) The station names, call signs or code symbols of each group of athletes who need to find a channel during the competition can be marked on the competition card to provide convenience for them to find a channel accurately.

(9) When discovering a hidden radio station, athletes should record the time, punch in or print it by themselves according to the regulations (the beacon station does not need to find or print it) as evidence for discovering the radio station.

(10) After crossing the finish line, athletes should submit their time cards or competition cards immediately. Refers to the lost card or the card has no result. If it is not recorded, punched, printed or stamped as required, the results of this station will be invalid.

(1 1) Performance evaluation: The time taken is the actual time of the athletes from the time when they get the starting command to the time when they find the platform in the required order and pass the finish line. If the specified time is exceeded, the result is invalid.

Seven, held a mass radio direction finding competition, including related radio knowledge assessment and engineering production appraisal. For the specific scoring method, the organizer can determine the level and scale of the competition.

Eight, where the rules are not involved in the direction finding competition, please refer to the standard (long-distance) radio direction finding competition rules.
