Where does Jade Emperor Mountain in Luxi belong?
Lotus Mountain, named after its lotus-like shape in ancient times, was renamed Yuhuang Mountain in the Tang Dynasty because of the Taoist temple built on the mountainside. Yuhuang Mountain Scenic Area is located in Zaxi Village, Zhangjiafang Township, at the junction of Luxi, Lianhua and Anfu counties. It is located on the west side of Wugong Mountain, a national 4A scenic spot, and is the remnant vein of Wugong Mountain. The southeast of Yueming Lake, a national 3A scenic spot, is the source of Yueming Lake, covering an area of 60 square kilometers. Here, with beautiful scenery, it is one of the cradles of land water and xiaoshui, with the highest peak of Yufeng at an altitude of1234m. There are rare animals and plants such as yew, ginkgo and silver carp. The territory has excellent ecology and peculiar landscape, including deep mountain canyons, terraced fields in mid-levels, rhododendrons in high mountains and bamboo seas in high mountains. The main peak has eight peaks standing in a circle, which looks like a blooming lotus from a distance. The mountains are stacked, the trees are lush, and the springs are clear, which is called the scenic spot. The mountains are green in spring and summer, and the forests are dyed in autumn and winter. There is a 1,000-meter cave at the foot of the mountain, which is winding and secluded, with strange landscape and colorful. There are also the Jade Emperor Ancient Palace, Qutianxia Rafting, Night Camp of Autumn Harvest Uprising Troops, Wangjiadawu Red Army Primary School, Thousand-year-old couple yew, Longtan Spring, tree fossils and other special landscapes. Visitors can enjoy natural scenery, explore Taoist myths and stories and experience folk customs here.
