Yuanyang River and Baishuiyang Scenic Area are located in Pingnan County, northwest of Ningde City, Fujian Province, where there are many virgin forests and a wide variety of animals and plants. Baishuiyang is also known as "the first scene in the world and the wonders of the universe". On June 5438+1October 2 1 in 2009, Baishuiyang Scenic Spot and Yuanyangxi Scenic Spot in Pingnan County successfully passed the evaluation and acceptance of the National Tourism Administration, and were both rated as national 4A-level tourist attractions.
Baishuiyang is the most distinctive natural landscape among the five scenes of Yuanyang River. The flat rock riverbed is made of a stone without gravel. Looking up, it looks like a huge farmland that has just been raked, spreading out in the mountains. Among the three shallow water squares, the largest is 40,000m2, and the widest point is182m. The riverbed is evenly distributed, and the water depth is ankle-deep. In the sun, the ocean is sparkling and incandescent, so it is called Baishuiyang.
The three shallow water squares in Baishuiyang have been proved by the Ministry of Construction to be rare shallow water squares found in the world at present. According to preliminary research by geological experts, it is volcanic lava. Due to the crustal movement, granite intruded in some areas, and the rocks at the bottom of the river bed developed relatively due to the long-term erosion of water flow, forming this peculiar geological landscape today. Although the geological landform of Baishuiyang is not complicated, the reasons for the formation of this landform are very complicated. So far, there is no scientific and accurate statement, so it is called "the best scenery in the world" and "the mystery of the universe" When Dai Lu, secretary of the provincial party committee, visited Pingping, he instructed us to invite experts to further study and endow Baishuiyang with deeper and richer scientific and cultural connotations.
Beautiful landscapes are bound to spread many beautiful myths and legends. Baishuiyang's folk customs are very interesting, unique and have local scenery. It is said that Cheng Huize opened up 300 hilltops of farmland for Sanfeng Village when he swallowed the Dragon Ball by mistake. When he was flying to the East China Sea, he wanted to do more for the countryside. Due to the tight time, he had to exert great strength, waving a dragon tail to sweep out a farmland in the mountains, so that the people in this area could live and work in peace and contentment. Unexpectedly, the bully Guo, who coveted this fertile soil for a long time, used the mountain in this area as his home and colluded with the county officials to occupy this land. The Monkey King, the Great Sage of Qitian, lived in Shuilian Cave downstream and happened to know about it. Overnight, he moved all his fields to the mountain near Shuilian Cave, where a new village was formed, which was called "Yi Yang" by the local community. Since then, there is only a smooth stone bed left here. As the saying goes, folk myths have been circulating for a long time.
[Five Old Peaks] To browse Baishuiyang, you must first climb the Five Old Peaks, from which you can have a panoramic view of Baishuiyang. Mount Wulaofeng has a beautiful shape and is located on the edge of Baishui Ocean. The small platform in front of it is called chessboard top. It is said that there were five immortals on the top of the chessboard that year, thinking hard about the chess game, and after one hundred generations, they got carried away and concentrated on it, turning it into the Five Old Peaks.
[Yanhou Village] Yanhou Village is a revolutionary base village where the red flag cannot fall. Ye Fei, a proletarian revolutionary of the older generation, once fought a guerrilla war in this area. The village was burned down three times by Kuomintang troops and rebuilt with the help of the people's government after liberation. There are still several houses in the village that were called "foreign houses" by the masses at that time.
[Baishuiyang? 6? 100 m surfing slide] The middle ocean of Baishuiyang is the most spectacular. Some rocks with well-developed joints are constantly falling off under the scouring of water flow, forming a "natural bathtub". Walking barefoot on the white water ocean and feeling the delicate caress of the water just corresponds to China's ancient thought of harmony between man and nature.
Baishuiyang is known as 10,000 meters water square and Shili water street. Every summer, a water sports meeting is held here. Sports events include dragon dancing, mandarin duck walking, tug-of-war on water, taekwondo performance and 100-meter race.

[xia yang] Xia Yangbo of Baishuiyang is as flat as a mirror. Because the riverbed is different in depth, it is like a polygonal crystal under the refraction of sunlight. In addition, the green trees on both sides of the river make the whole xia yang colorful, so it is also called "colorful sea".
[Shamao Rock] In the middle of the colorful ocean, there is a prominent stalagmite. Seen from above, it looks like the black hat of the Ming Dynasty, so it is called "gauze hat eye". It is said that a county magistrate passed by and lamented the ups and downs of his career, so he retired and turned his gauze hat into a stone in the water. The detachment of China literati in Peach Blossom Garden and Wangchuan Villa by Wang Wei is more like the ancient people's thinking about the beauty of water shield and returning home. Shamaoyan, which continues here, has just made the most romantic footnote-resignation. Looking up from the left, the shape of Shamao Rock changes step by step, resembling a giant turtle with a pile of treasures on its back, which is called "Golden Turtle Carrying Treasure". The whole looks like a full sail, which is also called "smooth sailing" Therefore, the scenic spot has a very auspicious name-"the golden turtle carries the treasure, and it is smooth sailing".
Yuanyangxi National Scenic Area is located in the northeast of Pingnan County, 30 kilometers away from the county seat, at the junction of Pingnan, Zhouning, Zhenghe and three counties. The total area is 78.8 square kilometers. Yuanyangxi National Scenic Area is the only Yuanyang bird protection area in China. Yuanyang Creek is 14 km long, with high mountains and dense forests nearby. It is quiet and clean, and it is a good place for Yuanyang to live. Every autumn, hundreds of mandarin ducks fly from the north for the winter, which makes mandarin ducks found in the streams around here more than 100 years ago, so Pingnan has the reputation of "hometown of mandarin ducks".
Yuanyangxi Tourist Area is the central scenic spot of Yuanyangxi, featuring wild animals, mandarin ducks, macaques and rare plants, and integrating streams, waterfalls, peaks, rocks and caves. It is a rare comprehensive tourist area. Chaxi tourist area is located in the lower reaches of Yuanyang River, where there are thousands of acres of original secondary forests and beautiful river valley landscape. Shuizhuyang-Kaoxi Tourist Area is located in the west of Chaxi Tourist Area, featuring Xianfeng Canyon and Pinus ponderosa. Yuanyang Lake Tourist Area, located in Shuangxi Town, consists of lakes, islands, wild ducks, four-season rhododendrons, temples and ancient pagodas.
