A trip to Bailong Mountain

There is no warning this time, and there is no plan to go to Bailong Mountain. At 8 o'clock in the morning, my second uncle called me and said that they were going to Bailong Mountain and asked me if I would go. Although I was born and raised in Sri Lanka, I have never climbed this Bailong Mountain. I agreed in one breath, but I was told to leave in 10 minutes. My god, who knows what I can do in these ten minutes? I got up and washed my face, and I'm leaving.

There are seven of us and one child is go on road trip. Bailongshan in Lan County is located near Mafang Village, Puming Town, Lan County. When driving all the way to the foot of Bailong Mountain, we were stopped by a management uncle on the roadside, saying that cars were not allowed to enter the road ahead, but we saw his routine. Uncle got off the bus and asked him to buy some blessing belts to let us in. Hey, what can I say? The uncle who looks at the road is not that simple and doesn't walk much.

The first thing that catches our eye is the door of merit. We go in through Gongde Gate, which is a beautiful bluestone road. There are large forests on both sides of Qingshi Road, and the steps are almost vertical. I remember that I encountered the problem of inclination when climbing Hengshan Mountain before. Although I felt a little afraid of heights, I climbed up. It didn't take long to reach a temple, not today's destination. There are some scenery in the yard, which may be some beautiful scenery taken all over Lan County. There is a small pagoda tree at the door for people to tie a blessing belt. In the yard, a 40-year-old boy is selling blessing tapes, and he is still talking about family harmony and smooth career. Obviously, the public is still very useful for this kind of words. For example, my aunt told this man to buy more blessing tapes and tell us something nice. We gave 10 more money, and almost everyone took a blessing belt.

Go along the road sign, and there is a temple with similar architectural style to the one in front. The only thing that makes people laugh is that your highness has two high platforms. On the left, there is a big clock, on the right, there is a big drum. The wooden sticks that knock on the clock are covered with people's blessing belts. After they were tied, people knocked on the clock a few times, as if to tell the gods in the temple.

Go further, and you will arrive at Bailong Temple, one of today's destinations. Two white dragons are wrapped around the two pillars of the gate of Bailong Temple, which is the White Dragon God that people in Lan County have always believed in. Every year during the college entrance examination, many parents will come here to pray, and some will bring a sheep to worship. It is said to be very effective. There is a well behind Bailong Temple, which is also a clear spring in the mountains. The well is not very deep, but we can't reach the water in it.

Unconsciously, I have climbed to the highest peak. Along the way, there are unknown trees and some medicinal materials, as well as an old welcoming pine, which is full of people's blessings.

At the top of the mountain, we saw the flying mirror stone opposite, and we are going to the big stone. Because of the children, my aunt couldn't walk, so she went down with several children first, leaving only the three of us to fly the mirror stone. Because I don't want to fly to the mirror stone, the road is opposite us. We asked a man who lived on this mountain all the year round, and he showed us a path that can be crossed directly from here. Obviously, this road is generally not taken by many people, but it is many times better than the one just taken. The road surface is paved with pebbles of various patterns. Seeing all kinds of ribbons on the tree, there are obvious traces of donkey friends walking. In a short time, they walked under the flying mirror stone, and a big Buddha word was engraved on the big stone, indicating that the mountain had previously carried Buddhist culture and is still believed by people. It consists of two stones, and there is a gap between them for two people to walk through. People call it "the first sight". At first glance, there are all kinds of big stones piled in the middle. We thought we could climb the top of this flying mirror stone from these stones, but several attempts failed. Then we climbed the top of the flying mirror stone from the other side of the stone along the iron stairs.

Thinking that this is the second peak of today's climb, I can't help but be agitated and applaud myself silently. Then we walked all the way back to the foot of the mountain along the stone steps, ending today's mountain climbing trip.

Dreams are far away, the road is at your feet, and there is no distance that you can't walk.
